Chapter 49: Falling Into You

THIRD PERSON POV

The return in Bree and Ari’s dynamics turned out pretty well. Despite Maria being busy with her schedules, she still has time to spend with Breana.

Unfortunately, Alex and Sunny are still having their cold war, ignoring the presence of the other, yet stealing glances whenever they could. Days passed quickly and the weekend came. Ari waits at Bree’s door to finally have their ‘hanging out’ time together.

She’s dressed in a fitted shirt with a low neckline, emphasizing her collarbones. She matched the shirt with a baggy jeans and low heels. While Bree maintains her blonde bob cut, Ari’s dark hair had grown longer and she just lets it go loose around her shoulders.

Bree came out in her striped loose long-sleeved shirt, cargo pants and sneakers. She’s wearing a backpack.

“Good morning Bree! Uhh…we’re taking Mags (*her cat if you already forgot/shorter for Magnolia) with us?” Ari points at the bag. It has a transparent circle window around the front where the feline’s curious expression is visibly shown.

“Good morning too, Rie-rie!! Oh, don’t worry. We’ll pass by the shop where I’ll leave him for grooming.”Breana widely smiles as she leads the way.

“So, what’s with the new nickname and what are we doing?”

“Don’t you like it? I want to go visit this art exhibit. How about you? What do you want to do?”

Ari tilts her head. “Uhh…it’s fine, and I want to go shopping I guess.”

“Okay! Let’s go to the exhibit, then the mall.” The smaller one enthusiastically announced while fisting the air.

As they passed by the shop they left Mag to her groomer and proceeded to their destination.

Breana looked so amused and interested with the paintings on the wall. Her eyes light up as she moves to appreciate frame per frame, her mouth agape in awe. All the while, Maria is contented with Bree’s presence. She feels happy watching the girl be amused by the paintings. It was as if watching an art itself, appreciate art.

“Hey, no offense but, how is this an art? It’s all smudges and mix of colors. I could barely see the subject.” Ari gestured at a painting to Bree.

Bree approached the one Ari was pointing at. She looks at the painting and stares at it.

After a few minutes Ari asks again. “Well?”

“Art can be in different forms, Ari. Singing is an art, dancing is too and in both of those you have different genres.

Sometimes, there are art that can be visually appealing, some are meant to be told, some to be interpreted and some art moves people.”

Ari hums in understanding. She could relate as someone who loves to dance. There are times that she dances to amaze people. There are also times she dances to express herself.

“I want to make an art that moves people. To make them feel something.” Bree confesses. “It’s one of my dreams.”

“I’ll be there when you reach that dream.” Ari tells her. It’s a promise. A promise that she’ll root for her, that she will support Bree, that she’ll stay until that dream becomes a reality.

“I’m holding you on that.”

“Why don’t you take a picture of those?” Ari asks.

“Nah. I think art is best perceived first-hand.”

Ari couldn’t help but agree as she looks at her companion, an art personified.

After the exhibit, they went to the mall. Ari says she wants to buy jeans. That’s how the two of them end up in the changing rooms on one of the shops inside.

“Breepup, how do I look?” Ari poses in front of the girl who is seated on the waiting couch.

Breana lifted her gaze from the magazine she’s holding to the girl she’s with. Her eyes went wider when the lady turns and bends a little, giving her a generous view of that voluptuous bum. A feeling bubbles inside of her.

“Hey, say something.” Ari demands.

Breana cleared her throat. “It’s – it fits…It fits you.” She is thankful that Ari’s attention is on her figure reflected in the mirror in front of her as she poses to see herself in different angles. This also gives Bree the time to appreciate the girl’s proportions.

The high-waist jeans definitely show the woman’s curves and her long legs.

“Okay. I’ll take this. Let’s try the next one.”

Ari reenters the cubicle holding another pair of jeans in her hand as Bree release her breath she didn’t notice she was holding in. She tries to relax only to be attacked with the girl’s visual when she reemerged after changing into another one.

“How about this one?” She struts in front of the girl once again.

The one Ari is wearing is a low-cut this time. She turns and even lifted her shirt a bit. Bree caught a glimpse of that deep groove that follows that spine on Ari’s back. She can’t help but stare.

One cannot truly deny how this woman is so blessed with her curves. Breana thought.

She’s so thicc. Bree can’t help but think and be flustered when she realizes what’s running in her mind. Ari notices the other’s sudden silence and looked over her shoulder in the mirror. She caught the girl intently staring.

“Enjoying the view?” Ari smirks.

Bree’s gaze snaps up as she turned even redder after being caught red-handed. “You – you asked me to look . . .” She pouts, blaming the girl for tempting her when she wasn’t even trying. “. . . it, looks good on you.” She had to admit that.

“Then I’ll take this too since you like it.” Bree winks at her.

Wheein sighs, hoping she could survive the rest of the day with the constant embarassment.
