Lessons and Life

As the beast walked it changed form. He shrunk down to a human wearing a cloak the same colours its hide, a purple leather hood hid the beasts face, the hood adorned with an eye symbol.

Despite its human form it retained a tail and its antlers which stuck out of the hood which hid its face. Sarah follows the beast into the den it spent waiting.

The den itself, seemed to be more of a forest in a greenhouse, the trees were mainly pines, looming over them as they approached a clearing.

'It's so calming.' Sarah thought when the beast stopped before the clearing.

"This place was made by the Council's illusionist, made to reflect one's own fears, desires, and varies between each person, one can even show what they see, if they come to terms with who they are," he spoke.

The beast faces her, and sits on the log behind him.

"So...what do I do?" Sarah asked the beast.

"I see a false guilt within you, a guilt that has changed you, from a very young age," the man continued.

Bright, the cultist and the SCPS watched the den slowly change form from the doorway.

"You need to face the truth, before I teach you anything, You aren't ready yet," the beast shook it's head in disapproval.

Sarah left the den and reached her friends.

"What did it say?" The cultist asked as they walked up the stairs.

"I need to face the truth, regarding some guilt, rather not talk about it," Sarah responds. The group was stops at a room.

The room was a library of sorts, except it had Five bedrooms.

"If you wish to learn more of the sacred ground, please, look through the shelves, I assure you'll find all the information you'll need," the cultist says as he exits the room and heads elsewhere.

Everyone just decided to turn in for the night, but Sarah had other plans.

She began to read about species that were kept within the cathedral, starting with the Crentil.

They were once given the job of protecting various places, often religious or castles and in return, would receive respect and a place to call home. In the wild, they'd defend their territories, killing whoever entered. Unfortunately, they went extinct due to diseases brought by humans, as well as mass hunting, and disputes with European Locals.

She finally stopped when she received a message from Clef.

Clef

Are you ok?

Sarah

Physically, yes, mentally no.

Clef

Oh so... you survived?

Sarah

Clef

Sarah
