1 Chapter 1 # Change of plans

Kara's POV

Change means to make someone or something different; alter or modify.31st of July 2015 note down the date cause today my life is going to change for the good or bad. And I don't have any idea at all that what is going to happen in near future. Well not literally.

Let's start from starting, my name is Kara Saqin. I am 18 year old soon to be 19 and I am starting college in next week. I am going to Ojai national institute.

It was a completely normal Monday morning in small town of California Ojai. I woke up with sunlight peeping through my window curtains. It was seven in the morning I went on with my daily fresh up routine and headed downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast.

In the kitchen my mom was making lovely chocolate chip pancakes. Dad was reading newspaper.

"Morning mom, dad" I said while kissing my mom's cheek and giving dad a high five. "Morning dear" they both said in unison like always. "Kara there is a letter for you from Sarendilla international university "said mom.

Sarendilla international university, well originally I wanted to go there as my grandma went there. It is an ancient university and one of the most prestigious universities too. My grandma used to tell me stories about that place. And from the stories I loved it that's why applied there. But I knew that chances of my selection were low. So, when I didn't have any reply for my letter I wasn't much disappointed. Looks like they finally got the time to reject my application. I thought while opening my letter or more like rejection.

"Miss Kara Saqin,

We are delighted to inform you that you have been accepted in Sarendilla International University. Classes start on 8th August at 8am. You are to reach our campus a day before classes start. You are going to stay at our on campus girl's dorm.

We are apologize for replying late to your application and are looking forward to your stay at Sarendilla
