Gary almost dropped the receiver when he heard her voice. Thank God he was alone.

“Well first of all, there’s a penalty for going away without a proper goodbye and then I will treat you with a royal reception, Bodley pleasures guaranteed,” he promised.

His voice sent a blush through her face. He was sure of that because she cleared her throat before speaking.
