Darkness

Where am I?

I thought as I gazed around my surroundings albeit not seeing much as it was all encompassed by darkness. Even the floor seemed unusual as it moved in a way that seemed like it was alive as it swayed back and forth.

As I slowly got a feel for this new world I felt something, something I hadn't felt just moments ago.

Fear.

It seemed to overtake me as I began to desperately seek an exit of this god forsaken place. 

But we don't always get what we want.

As I wandered I realized something I found myself slowly forgetting who I was. What was my name?

My age?

And of course why am I here?

As what felt like minutes became hours, and these hours became days. I slowly felt myself descend into madness.

WHY.

WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHY.

"WHY AM I HERE" I kept shouting for God knows how long or by how much.

Until I saw It.

Light.

Oh beautiful and gracious light it was only a shimmer but that shimmer alone reborn my will to live as I began to run towards this light.

I don't know how long I ran it could have been minutes or hours for all I know but I just wanted to get closer to that light, the one that sparked my hope.

As my body tired again and again I pushed forward; Then I felt it a spark in my body and with this spark came a reaction I began to feel more sparks like this in the world of darkness and they began to gather. Flowing through my body joining that one spark that started it all.

As these "sparks" gathered I felt a new sense of warmness as they flowed through my body strengthing it making me faster and lighter then before.

And then I saw it.

A Door.

That one shimmer of light that had pushed me foward ended up being a door!

As I gazed at the door which shone with such a bright aura that it pushed away all the darkness near it.

"I got to go through it" I muttered. Realizing it could be my ticket to freedom I began to move foward with my hope burning brighter then it ever had before.

But as I neared it I felt something pushing me back as if I wasn't worthy. But nonetheless I pushed foward and with every step this force or pressure kept pushing down on me.

"No!" I gasped as I was soon forced to the ground by this pressure. "I can't give up yet" I thought. "I gotta learn why I am here and who I am".

As I crawled foward slowly nearing the door I felt the pressure increase even more so as I felt my bones slowly breaking and then repairing once again with those sparks from the world flowing into me.

As the pain increased my will was slowly being broken.

"BUT I Couldn't give up Not know not ever" I thought as I was but inches away from the door. I slowly forced my hand towards its slowly getting closer untill it reached the entrance of the door.

And I was sucked in.
