236 CHAPTER 236: UNHEALED WOUNDS

"She's alright son, she's alright." 

Marcus comforted his son who won't stop crying even until they reached the hospital. 

An ambulance came to the scene after a few minutes and they took Ariana to the hospital. As for Eli, he stayed with the chief of the security guard until Marcus arrived. 

Eli begged his father to go with Ariana but he doesn't need to beg because Marcus planned to go anyway.

Before leaving, Marcus instructed the guards to bring the culprit to their secret base. He also gave them the authority to torture him as they pleased. Aside from torture, he ordered them to prepare all his information to be sent to his phone as soon as possible. 

When they reach the hospital, Ariana was already lying on the bed, still unconscious. Since the doctor assured them that she was only grazed, Eli stopped crying and sat beside the woman as commanded by his papa.
