228 CHAPTER 228: IF MAMA DIDN'T DIE

"Don't turn on the lights." 

Marcus heard the woman when he attempted to turn on the light in the living room. It was quite dim. And since it was past four in the afternoon, he was guessing that the two are hungry. 

Turning on the light might awaken them. 

"Shhhhhh." She motioned to the man. At least she knew it was Marcus because the light in the kitchen somehow allowed her to get a glimpse of the man's shadow. "He just fell asleep. He must have been tired to snore like this." 

'Snore?' The man couldn't help but raise his brows with a smug smile on his face. His memory gave him an image of a snoring woman. 

"What's funny?" She asked the man who sat on the couch next to them. 

"Nothing. It's just funny to know that snoring means you are comfortable sleeping. Even more when you are at a stranger's house." He smiled meaningfully at her.
