5 It went as I planned!

Y/n was confused as to who she was and why she was here.

"Who the heack are you? I've never seen you before." She said and got up from Jungkook and walked towards her.

"I'm Lee Aera, nice to meet you." She said and put her hand forward for a shake.

But Y/n just looked at her hand and looked back at her. She took back her hand.

"So, who brought you here?" She asked.

"I did. She is elementary friend. We're meeting after so long." Taehyung said excited.

"Why did you come back? Could've stayed back, wherever you came from." Y/n said and looked at her in anger.

"Y/n, just behave yourself. She's my friend." Taehyung said.

"Good for you." She said and left, dashing her.

She went back to her room and decided that this shouldn't affect her. First she had to concentrate on halmeoni and then she can come back to this.

"I'm sorry for her behaviour. She's a bit.... I hope you understand." Taehyung said.

"It's ok. I understand. Anyways, I'll take a leave." She said and left. Anger rose in Taehyung now.

He walked fast to Y/n's room and banged the door hard.

"Do you even know how embarrassing it is?" He shouted.

"Yeah I do." She shouted behind the door.

"Yah... Come out!" He shouted.

"Yahh... Tae. Just calm down. Past is past. You can't change it." Jin said and he sat back on the couch.

Y/n didn't like other girls entering the group. She thought they'd seperate her from the others. She didn't want to lose her friends. She had faced the situation already but the others don't know about it. And she doesn't want that to happen again.

'Y/n just focus on halmeoni now. You can come back to this later.' She said to herself.

'So the first thing tomorrow is to go in search of this address. But first I should contact this person. What if he changed his number? Let me just call him and check once.'

She took out her phone and dialed the number and called.

The phone was soon picked up.

"Hello, is this Mr. Kim Ji-ho?" She asked.

"Yes, anything I can help you with?" He asked.

"Sir, we are calling from ABC Styles. We are celebrating our 15th anniversary, this month. We have great offers and deals. Would you like to have a look at it sir?" She asked.

"No thanks."

"Thank you for you time sir." She said and the call ended.

"Thank god he didn't change his number. Tomorrow, I should take the day off and go in search of him. I hope he stays in this address." She said to herself and lay down.

*next day

Y/n woke up fresh and went to take a shower.

She was excited to meet halmeoni's son, that she forgot about that new girl.

She headed out, taking the address and her phone and left without saying anything.

"Is she still mad about us, cause of yesterday?" Namjoon asked.

"What happened yesterday?" Jimin asked confused.

"About Aera." He said.

"She'll be fine. Maybe she is in hurry to work. She'll forget it eventually." He said and left. The others also soon left.

Y/n's POV

I got out from the house and walked. Walked how much ever I could. But I gave up soon.

I got into a taxi and asked him to drop me at the destination. I got down and looked at the house....

And OMG!!! It was huge enough to fit a lot of people.

It was quite big enough and the exterior looked very beautiful.

I walked in and I said to the security guard that I wanted to meet Mr. Kim. He nodded and let me in.

I walked and knocked on the door. The door opened revealing a maid. She bowed and I bowed back and walked in.

"ANything I can help you with, Miss?" I heard a voice.

I turned back and saw a young man, around my age. He looked damn handsome and cute. But how can he be halmeoni's son?

I looked deep into him. There were no wrinkles, no beard nor mustache. His skin was perfect and he was muscular.

"Done with the staring?" He asked.

"Sorry for that.... But you don't seem like Mr. Kim." I said, looking at him.

"cause I am not."

'What?! Am I in the wrong address?" I said to myself.

"Ani. You are in the right address but the wrong person." He said.

"then who are you?" I asked, looking suspiciously at him.

"I am Kim Jong-in, Kim Ji-ho's son." He said.

"Ohh.... I'm really sorry for what I did earlier. Umm... Can I meet your father? There is something I would like to talk to him about... I guess it would be better if your family was here." I said.

He nodded and asked the maids to call the others.

"So, do you have any siblings?" I asked to know how many grandchildren halmeoni had.

"Yup, Kim Jennie, my younger sister." He said.

He asked me sit down and soon the others joined.

Halmeoni's son, his wife and grandchildren were all there, except her. And I want to complete that gap.

"I am here for a thing. But before that, please listen carefully to what I have to say and choose your decision wisely."

I cleard my throat and took out a visiting card and placed it on the table.

"I am Y/n, from the XYZ Old Age Home. I am here for your mother, Kim Hye-Jin."

"Please don't talk to me about that lady. She is not part of this family anymore. We are staying happy." The lady said.

"I said to listen me out till the end." I said and smiled. She looked at me with disgust, but I didn't care. I just continued.

"Sir, halmeoni has been waiting for you to come and see her. She has high hopes on you returning back. Just visit her once, atleast." I said, directly coming to the point.

"Why would I? I am living a luxurious life and you want me to step into that dumbshit old age house? I am well settled and I don't need her in my life. She had just cause ruckus in my life. She is just-" I cut him.

"Sir, I hope you mind your language. She's still the one who gave birth to you.... Sir, how did you get this fame, this money? Did money just grow from trees for you alone? It was the money she saved for your future studies. Without that you couldn't even have come to this place." I paused.

"Sir, if your kids talked back to your wife or said something bad about her, then doesn't hurt her or you? Same way it does for halmeoni too. She gave you everything she could. She gave you all the love she could. You knew her situation. You knew your father married someone else and she took care of you alone."

"Sir, have you ever experienced that love from your wife? Have your kids experienced that love from their mother? Has she experienced that love from you all? Sir, life isn't just about money. It's about spending time with your loved ones, at the right time. Money comes today and goes tomorrow. But love, stays today and stays forever. You can buy anything with money, but not the happiness, the love and the enjoyment from family."

I pushed the card towards him.

"If you have changed your mind, or if you really miss her, you can come and visit her here. She'll always be waiting for you. It's up to you now sir. I hope you choose a wise decision." I said and left.

"Wait!" I heard the lady. I stopped and turned back and faced them.

"If you are talking this much, why don't you spend time with your family instead of asking us to go look for her?"

"If I had one, why would I even be here, at the first place?" I said and smiled.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I lost my family in an accident, when I was young. So I grew up alone and now with a bunch of friends. Sir, you do have a family, make use of it. Later, don't worry about it, after she's no more to see. See you." I smiled and left.

I walked out, hoping he'd make the right decision.

"Y/n." I heard a voice. I turned back and saw the guy I first met.

"Hi.... um..." I said, thinking his name.

"Sorry to say, but I forgot your name." I said feeling embarrassed.

"Jong-in. You can call me Kai." He said.

"Ok Kai. So what is it?"

"oh.. um... I'm sorry for my mom's behaviour. She just doesn't like talking about my grandmother."

"It's ok. I know a lot about it. Your grandmother told me everything."

"Hey, I really wanna meet her. But I'm not sure whether my dad would allow."

"Yah.. don't worry. I'm sure you'll be at the home before the day ends."

"And how sure are you about that?"

"A hundred percent. Trust me. You'll be there by today. And I'll be waiting for you guys to come." I bid him goodbye and took a taxi and reached to my work place.

"Y/n, did you finish your work, you went early morning?" Eun unnie asked.

"Ne unnie." I said and went in.

"Here she is." I heard someone say. I looked at them and they were quite mad at me.

"Why are you late?" Halmeoni asked.

"I'm sorry for that. I had a very important work to do. I won't be late next time. So let's get to the point now." I said and started having a conversation with them all.

*at 5 pm

It has been a long time from the time I came back from their house and there is still no sign of them. I started worrying whether they'd come or not.

I walked over to halmeoni's room and she was sitting in her bed.

"Halmeoni." I said and walked in.

"Y/n, come here. What is it?" She asked and patted the empty space beside her. I sat down and looked at my hands.

"Halmeoni, how are you doing now? Are you feeling better?" I didn't know what to ask her though.

"Y/n, are you ok? Is everything fine with you?" She asked as she put her hand on my shoulder.

"Halmeoni, I actually want to tell you something."

"What is it Y/n?" She asked.

"Halmeoni... I-I guess I failed. I failed badly. I couldn't make you feel happy." As I said a tear dropped. And slowly more started flowing. I wiped them. She looked at me confused. It hurted me when I couldn't make her happy.

She had a family but she wasn't close to them. I didn't want her to feel like me. I always wanted the people around me to be happy with their family, but in her case I lost.

"No Y/n. You didn't fail Y/n." I heard another voice. A male voice.

I looked at the door and there they were. Standing as a family waiting to see her.

"Ji-ho! Ji-ho, you are here!" She said and got up and walked over towards her son.

"Eomma, I am sorry I lied to you. I am such an idiot. I am the worst son ever. You have done a lot for me but I didn't realise it and my ego overtook me. Eomma, please forgive me." He said.

"Ani. Don't. It's ok. You have come after a long time. DOn't bring all that now."

"Eomma, this is Jong-in and Jennie." He said and halmeoni looked at them with love.

"Come let me make you something special." She said and they went down.

"You guys head down. I'll come."

The home had it's own kitchen too. The workers would make food mostly but sometimes they also cook.

I wiped my tears. Finally! She is happy.

"So, as you said we are here, by the day ended." Jong-in said.

"I am glad your father did make the right choice." I said.

"You are the cause of it. My dad really started thinking after you talked. He really started missing halmeoni. Thank you so much for this. I have seen my father happy after so long. He used to be busy with his work and he wouldn't even have time to spend time with us." He said worrying.

"Hey come on. Cheer up."

"You too." He said and smiled and left. I was confused. What did he mean by that?

I walked behind him and asked,

"What do you mean?"

"You were worried. You were sad that you couldn't fulfill halmeoni's wish. Even if you are not happy, you want the others surrounding you to be happy." He said.

"Who told you?" I asked. He was true but how did he know. He stopped in his tracks and looked at me.

"I can see it in your eyes." He said and smiled and left. I was a bit shocked.

'Is it really seen in my eyes that I want others to be happy? It is a good thing but why do I worry about it?'

The others also haven't said this, nor even did those seven, but he did. How? I need to get this cleared out of my head.

I went in search of him and he was along with the others. I spotted Jennie. I called her.

"Jennie." I whispered slightly. She looked at me and came towards me.

I pulled her a bit away and asked her.

"Jennie, do you see anything in my eyes?" I asked her.

"What are you asking unnie?" She asked confused.

"I mean, do you see anything that tells about me?"

"You are happy about being able to fulfill others wish?" She said confused.

"Ok, thanks." I said and she smiled awkwardly and left.

How does only he see it? How does he know, while others don't? Aishh, this guy! He's really making me think a lot.

The only time I thought a lot was to what job I should get. But after that, I'm into a lot of thinking now.

'Ugh.... Just forget it. I'll just continue my work.'

I started writing each of their performances. They were all doing good. I looked at halmeoni from the window I was sitting and she was really happy.

There she was, smiling, happy, and enjoying the time with her family.

I wrote about her performance and closed the book. I sighed.

'It's time to get home now. Better pack my things.' I said to myself and started packing my things.

*after 10 mins

That was a long time though. I finally finished it and walked out.

Jin won't come to pick me up. As I was leaving home, I heard Taehyung said that that bitch would be coming today also. And I'm not in the mood to fight with her now. By the way, where did he even meet her? Ugh!!! Why am I getting jealous? Maybe she's just a pass by friend.

I was into deep thinking, that I suddenly realised that someone was tapping on my shoulder.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't recognise you calling me." I said.

"Y/n, thank you so much. I am glad that you talked to me. I am happy. I am very happy." Jong-in's father said.

"It's ok." I said and bowed. Halmeoni stood beside him and held my hand and I stood in front of her.

"Y/n, I am feeling happy after a long time. All thanks to you. Thank you so much for bringing them and making my wish come true. You have done a very big thing." She said and kissed my forehead. I smiled and bowed.

"I'm getting late. I'll see you tomorrow halmeoni. I better get going." I said and walked. But stopped when someone called my name.

"Y/n wait. How about I drop you?" Jong-in asked.

"It's ok.I'll be fine." I said.

"Y/n, it's getting dark. Just go with him." Halmeoni said.

"Ok." I nodded slightly.

He leaded the way and I sat in the car with him and he drove.

"So you listen to what halmeoni says, but not when I asked." He said.

"Ani, it's not like that." I said and smiled awkwardly. When I'm with him, I couldn't stop thinking about how he found out.

I showed him directions and soon we reached. I got down.

"Thanks for the ride. Wanna have a drink?" I asked for formality.

"It's ok. Maybe next time. And don't keep thinking about how I found out. Just relax." He said and drove. I was just aw-struck.

How did he even read my mind? Gosh! This guy!!

I watched him till he went out of my sight an walked back in.

As I was near the door, I heard loud giggles.

Gosh! That bitch is here again. I don't even want to talk to her. But these guys will force me to. What to do?... Got it! I took out my earphones and and plugged it in my phone and played loud music.

I knocked on the door and it opened revealing Namjoon. I smiled and walked in. I just looked around and walked to my room. But before I could enter, I got stopped by someone. He took out my earphones and I looked at him.

It was Taehyung.

"Yah.. What is your problem?" I asked him annoyed.

"Talk to her." He said.

"She has you to talk, then why should I?" I asked and shook my hand off his grip.

"Y/n, show some respect atleast."

"Respect? Ok." I said and walked towards her. He followed me and sat back.

I took the glass tumbler filled with water and held it in air, she also lifted her hand up to get it, but I splashed it on her before she could take it.

"this is my respect." I said and went to my room and closed the door.

'what the heck is his problem? Why should I even show respect towards that bitch?'

Third person POV

'What the heck is wrong with this girl? Why is she disrespecting her? Is she out of her mind?' Taehyung thought.

"Aera, I'm sorry for her behaviour." That was all he could do.

"It's ok Taehyung. I guess she's still not comfortable with me."

"She'll change. Don't worry." Jin said to both of them. Taehyung nodded hoping she would.

But Y/n was not ready to change. She didn't want them to be close with them. She was the only one who was very close to them, but she didn't like it when Aera came.

Will Y/n keep up to her words and not change? Will Taehyung forgive Y/n for what she did? Will Y/n become friends with Aera? Will Y/n be thinking about what Jong-in said? Is there something between Y/n and Jong-in? Does Jong-in like Y/n? Will the members get to know about Jong-in? How will they react after knowing about him?
