Mixing Things Up

With my newly gained powers, I was almost ready to wage war on the World Government. The only people who were a threat to me were possibly Kaido, Big Mom, and the admirals. And while Shank's strength mainly was smoke and mirrors, I doubted the redhead would attack me.

The strength of my crew was also considerably lacking. Only Leana and Cal were only beginning to grasp the bare basics of Haki. If I wanted to attack the Navy Headquarters, I would need a couple of powerful allies.

I had a few in mind, but I was on less than friendly terms or a complete unknown. But it would take some time to find the group I was looking for, which was perfect for training my crewmates. I heard the floorboard shift behind me, and I turned to see Nico Robbin standing half her face covered in shadow.

"Oh, it's you." I turned back around, focusing on my task. In all the recent movements, I had forgotten entirely about the somewhat broken girl. I had seen her around the ship, but she mostly stayed in her room, barely coming out.

My assaulting Crocodile and invading Robin's mind had changed her, but I should have expected that. I did not regret my actions though, the knowledge I gained was well worth the harm.

"I want to talk." Robin broke my train of thought, my pen coming to a stop on the paper. "Well, talk then. I have some time." I gestured for her to continue, "I felt you in my mind when we first met. I saw you absorb my memories. You're able to understand the Poneglyphs, can't you?"

Tapping the paper on my desk, I realized I hadn't been too secretive about the matter, "Yes, I can. It's quite a remarkable language. I've never seen anything like it. Thank you for sharing it with me."

I watched as Robin's face warp into a mask of anger as she crossed her arms, "You thief!" I teleported behind her, my arm covered in shadow as I wrapped my hand around Robin's neck. "Don't be stupid. If I can read your memories, imagine what I could do to your sanity. It would be like plucking the wings off a butterfly."

I threw Robin to the side, and she caught herself, "I understand your hate, but it will get you nowhere. Your mother would have been disappointed. Come back when you are ready to talk instead of accusing."

Robin growled but left my room, closing the door rather softly behind her. It was an alien scenario. Having been in her mind, I already knew what Robin was feeling. After years on the run, she had finally found a haven as Crocodile's right hand, which was then ripped away from her by me.

It was also a low blow as I was the only poseable option besides going back on the road and hiding in the shadows. Then I essentially mind ****** her and learned the one thing that had caused her so much pain.

Grief, jealousy, greed, anger, and longing all blended into the most soul-crushing cocktail. I had faith, however, that Robin would come around. She was possibly one of the smartest characters on the show in terms of intelligence.

"But I have other things that take higher priority." Finish my letter, sealed it in a waterproof envelope. I then put it in the stack of other notes I had written. In a month or less, they would reach the ears of the most influential players in the world.

If life was a game of chess, I had just made the first move. The next day I gave the bird who delivers the newspaper my letters trusting the postal service would prove helpful for once. "Who did you send those letters to?"

I looked up to spot Ace sitting on the edge of the crow's nest, "It doesn't matter, but we're going to check in on Pop's; I need to talk to him."

"You're the Captin. Just know he might not take it too kindly to you leaving." Shrugging, I looked out at sea, "He can try to stop me, but this is my path to walk. I would like to have his support, but I can live without it. And even if we did fight, it would be a good chance to see where my strength lies."

Ace rolled his eyes, "Whatever, I'll spread the word. Are we making any stops?" I nodded, "Head for Enies Lobby. It's about time I make my grand debut." Ace looked at me as if I was crazy, but then he realized I was.

I didn't stick around as Ace started to curse under his breath, and for some reason, that made me smile. He should lighten up more. I didn't need to plan something elaborate with romance and betrayal; all I needed was to be seen riding Gibby, and that would surely get me some attention.

Sitting on the deck, I held out my palm and formed a small black hole. Since I had gained my new powers, I haven't made time to practice. But since I could create an entity able to rip apart space and time, I decided I should get a leash on my rampant powers.

Staring at the portal to the void, I tried to change its shape, but the intense gravity forced the blackhole to remain a sphere. Adjusting the size, however, wasn't a problem. Caussaly cocking back my arm, I threw the portal a few miles away and waited to see the results.

Five seconds later, there was large pop, and waves appeared on the horizon. I was almost worried, but by the time they reach the Akuma, the waves had died out. Creating another hole, I stuck out my tongue and watched as the orb started to spin.

Though the only way I could tell was from the vortex of air that formed. I threw the orb again and waited. This time instead of pop, it was a bang, and I could already spot giant waves on the horizon.

Acting quickly, I created a wall of shadow and placed it in front of the ship. As the waves approached the water disappeared into the void leaving Akuma untouched. I watched as the rest of the tsunami passed by.

'I hope that doesn't hit anything.'
