The three Marine agents fanned out, blocking the exit, Rob Lucci Kaku and Kalifa. I couldn't stop grinning, however. I was just too damn excited. After awakening my devil fruit, I hadn't had a serious opponent to go all out against.

Rob Lucci was directly in front of me, only a couple of meters away, "Soren D. Arvil, you are wanted by the World Government. Come with us, willing or unwilling. The choice is yours."

Standing up, I brandished Sanguinem pointed the tip at Lucci, "We both know that's not going to happen. Besides, you want to fight just as much as I do."

Rob Lucci's lips curled slightly, and he changed into his hybrid form, "I hope the stories aren't lies." In an instant, Rob Lucci teleported behind me. His fist pulled back in preparation.

Rotating around, I held up my arm and formed a bone shield blocking the punch.

Turning the shield into a blade, I landed a shallow cut across his stomach. Sensing someone approach from behind, I rolled to the side as Kaku's leg kicked through the place I used to occupy.

Slamming my hand on the ground, the stone bricks shattered, and bones spike rose from the ground fanning out from me.

[Bone Art: Hone no maisō]

They all used Gepo jumping on the air itself to avoid my attack. Grabbing Sanguinem with two hands, the sword started to morph, bending into an arc. In a few seconds, I was holding a bow almost as tall as me.

[Weapon Form: Pinaka]

Holding out my hand, I created a bone arrow with sinew tail fathers. Reinforcing the arrow with haki, I knocked my arrow and let it fly. The power behind the bow sounded like gunfire as my arrow missed punching a hole straight through one of the buildings.

Rob Lucci looked at the hole before looking back at me, "It seems you don't know how to aim." Grinning, I pulled back on the bowstring. Another arrow already knocked, "If you thought that I was aiming for you, you're dead wrong."

I unleashed my Observation Haki covering a shocking five hundred meters. Immediately the assassin's attitude shifted, "Kill him now!" Not questioning Lucci, Kaku and Kalifa launched themselves at me, using shave and Gepo trying to throw my aim off.

Unbeknownst to them, my Domain was inescapable. Locking on to Kalifa, I inhaled, "Right leg." As I predicted, my arrow pierced through Kalifa's thigh, dropping her to the ground.

Thrusting my hand, my bone spikes moved to form a cage around her. With one taken out of the fight, I turned to the other two. Kaku landed next to me, his body telegraphing another high kick.

[Weapon Form: Aegis]

Sanguinem morphed again, turning into a large round shield with a serrated edge. Kaku's eyes widened, and I smiled, "What you thought the bow was my final form." Kaku used soru, avoiding my shield bash.

Teleporting above me, Kaku started using rankyaku to send air projectile at me. It was a smart move. Aegis wasn't big enough to cover my entire body.

The air scythes hit the ground, sending dust everywhere obscuring my figure. Kaku's smile turned into shock. When the dust settled, it revealed a bone bunker protecting me. The structure then collapsed back into my shield.

Grinning, I use soru teleporting behind Kaku, "Thanks for teaching me!" Slamming my shield into his back, I sent Kak flying into the ground sending up another dust cloud.

Landing next to his broken form, I looked up at Rob Lucci, who was watching the entire time, "It's just you and me now. Are you ready to fight now?" Falling to the ground, Rob Lucci stared at me, all emotions wiped from his face.

"I won't be able to bring you in alive." That was all the assassin said before he launched himself at me. Reverting Sanguinem to its original form, I met him head-on. Rob Lucci could only avoid my sword slashes, as I occasionally landed a shallow cut on his flesh.

I was toying with him, slowly cutting him down. Rob Lucci was reduced to a bleeding mess in a few minutes, his clothes in rags and soaked with blood. But still, he was determined to fight. As he went to attack again, I appeared in front of him and slammed my knee into his stomach.

Coughing blood Rob Lucci collapsed around my knee, "It's about time I get going. This has been fun, though. Thanks for being my target practice." The assassin collapsed, falling to the ground unconscious.

Waving my hand, I collected my bone spikes leaving no evidence behind, besides the shattered ground covered in blood and the three Marine assassins passed out on the floor.

Walking away, I looked to the left to see Bane leaning against the wall, "Whitebeard asked me to check on you. He wasn't pleased you didn't come back."

Shrugging, I looked back at the battlefield, "I was a little preoccupied. It was worth it, though." Sighing, Bane fell into step behind me, "I don't think you'll be saying that in an hour."

After Whitebeard chewed me out for 'having fun,' I collapsed into bed. I thought about if I should have killed them. But I shook my head. This was a massive blow to their pride. They wouldn't be telling anyone about their loss.

The next few weeks were peaceful. The repairs to the ship went even faster than usual as everyone chipped in to help. On the last day, we held a feast to thank the shipwright for repairing our ship. And in the morning we left before paying, Whitebeard was laughing the entire way.

Bane looked at me sideways, "Don't you think the Captains is acting a little weird." I shrugged, "We're pirates. We have to keep up our reputation, I'm going to eat."
