Chapter 18
A year later
It's been over a year now ,we finished filming a few months ago .It was a wrecking journey as juggling the shooting of scenes and other things was getting tough . We shot in Korea ,India and California ,it was an adventure worth acting for. So tomorrow I have a special event and I am in the fitting room wearing my special dress with tears ."You look beautiful ,"I say to myself as I stared at myself in the mirror .
"Anashe you have a call-woah oh my goodness you..you look stunning," Ayesha said as she looked me up and down.
"Thank you," I said in a whisper.
So what changed in the past year ,I got to collab with Adidas and I became a brand ambassador of SavagexFenty ! Exciting I know,I got a new stylist ,my agency stopped taking acting projects and only took advert campaigns , modelling and guest featuring projects .I needed time to deal with my other personal business like my studies ,my health and other stuff.
I have become close friends with BTS ,TXT,Pentagon and Jessi but not that close close . I am good and close friends with Ji-min and I am also close friends with Hoseok, Jungkook ,Woo-soek ,Huening Kai and Beomgyu .
For now that's about it and Oh we are having a world premier of The Rhythm in Love in two days time and I am excited.
"The dress is amazing good things do take time fit the other dress quickly ," Ayesha said excited .She helped me get out of the dress and my designer helped me in wearing the other dress and it took my own breath away .
"Aahhh! You will turn heads girl look at you ..look at you oh my goodness !" she said excitedly jumping up and down.
"Thank you ," I said hugging my designer very tightly .
"Okay so you have like an appointment with a spa you need to get cleansed and purified," Ayesha said looking at her Ipad .
"You say it as though I caught some evil spirits and my soul is dirty," I said looking at her with an eyebrow raised.
"I didn't say anything you said everything," she said walking away.
"Sis Anashe you need to get your shoes and jewelry that you will wear accompanied with the dress ," my stylist said .Her name was Nobuhle ,"Oh yes Nono but I have an appointment at the spa and besides I have seen the shoes and jewelry just got the headquarters and pick them up thank you for the reminder ," I said .
"Okay ."
We drove to the spa and when we were done I went home ,Ayesha had other things to take care of as my manager ,Ayesha also started her own skin care line called 'Yesha'.
"Daddy I am home ," I announced as I got into my apartment ."Welcome home ," dad said from the kitchen .I walked to the kitchen and he was busy making dinner ."How was your day?"
"It was fine and light I am so used to working hard and long hours that getting off work early is amusing I even went for a spa date with Ayesha ," I said checking what he was making .
"You deserve the rest the last couple of months were hard for you and oh your gang told me to tell you that by 9:00pm you should be by the airport to fetch them ,"he said making me taste his food .
"Okay I will fetch them after I get some food and sleep what's the time ?"
"It's 7:16pm ," dad said.
"Oh at least I have an hour and some minutes ."
I waved at them ,"Guyssss!" I screamed waving .
"Heyyy!" Fatima said hugging me .
"Hi!" Dallin said also hugging me .
"Doggy!" Cynthia said hugging me also .
"Hey Fatima, Hey Dallin baby and hello chihuahua ," I said .
"You guys need to grow up ," Fatima said referring to Cynthia and I .
"Oh please Fatima mother of this insane group spare us ," Dallin said rolling his eyes.
"Wearing a mask I see," Cynthia said hooking my arm to hers and walking away leaving Fatima and Dallin arguing .
"Well if I don't it will get chaotic and I want to reunite with you guys peacefully and harmoniously ," I said .
"There is nothing peaceful about us reuniting and harmony never ever existed in our dictionary of friendship ," Cynthia said.
"Urgh get a life dude some of us donot waste our life playing hide and seek with our bosses in the office At Night!" Fatima said .
"oohhh are we beefing ?" I asked laughing at what Fatima said.
"It's this dumbo who is always in my case," Fatima said slightly pushing Dallin.
"Oh please I might be a dumbo and play mouse and cat with my boss BUT AT LEAST I DON'T DREAM ABOUT KISSING MY DAMN COUSIN!"Dallin said screaming the last part loudly ,people looked at us some with their eyes wide open and some in confusion .
"You are a dog ," Fatima said chasing him leaving their bags .
"We not going to carry your bags you know!" I screamed after them.
"Welcome my angels," Dad said huggin them .
"Hi daddy ," Fatima said .
"Heyo Papa," Dallin greeted.
"Good evening Mr Ambani it's a pleasure meeting you sir ," Cynthia said in the most respectful tone .
"Good evening My Nigerian queen ," dad said also in a serious tone .
They liked greeting each other that way in a more professional way .
"Urghh you such a bore ,"I said as I walked to the lounge .
"Make yourself at home ," dad said.
"And at home we shall be ," Cynthia said .
"Isn't Ayesha coming ?" Dallin asked .
"Oh no she is not ,she has a lot of work her business is doing well she needs to be hands on and she has some work to complete about some advert ...soon she will have to quit being my manager her business needs her and she also has to help launch a new line for the revlon as the assistant creative director ," i said .
"Girl is going places ...proud," Dallin said joining me in the lounge.
"I will miss her when she finally quits and i miss her already as she has her attention divided ."
"You such a baby," Cynthia said .
"Tomorrow our girl is finally stepping up ," Fatima said raising her glass of juice .
"Oh please put the damn juice down only wines are allowed," Cynthia said .
"Mxm anyways we are so proud of you," Fatima said .
"Thank you ..to me," I said raising my glass too.
"To you!"
