"What did you want to talk about?" Ji-Tae asked his mother impatiently the moment he entered the house.

"Let's talk about your love life. How is Lee Nana?" She asked with a gentle smile.

"How do you know her?" Ji-Tae asked, giving her a disapproving look.

"Don't be silly! I am your mother, and it is my duty to know about the people in your life. So, how is she?" She said, waving off his question.

"What has that got to do with the engagement party?" He asked with a frown, wanting to know where she was heading to with her questions. Had she heard about his proposal last night? Was that why she was acting this way?

"It has everything to do with the engagement. I heard that you're in love with her... I don't think it is right for you to marry someone you don't love when there is a lady you love," She said, trying to sound concerned about him.
