After a while, he finally calmed down and moved out of her embrace. He sat down properly on the bed and used his blanket to wile his tears.

"Sorry Ever" he said hoarsely, scratching his head. He was so embarrassed. The first time was his parents so his tears were justified. But now, he wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole.

Although Ever was consoling him now, he knew she'd use it to tease him sooner or later.

"It's okay. Mind telling me what go you in this situation?" He didn't want to probe into his previous moment of balling like a kid because she could see that he was embarrassed all on his own.

He might ran out of the room if she brought it up. But that doesn't mean she was going to let it go. It just wasn't the right time.

Although the it was only a dream, the emotions in his beloved eyes still haunted him. He wouldn't know what to do if it manifested in real life.

He recounted everything that happened int he dream to her. Everlette wished he could hit for let a stupid dream get to him so badly.

But she let it slide because of his past trauma regarding his parents. She knew he was just afraid of losing another special someone.

"You know, I feel like beating you up."

Aiden covered his head on instinct. She always hit his head when he'd annoy her.

"Relax, I'm not going to." Aiden let out the breath he didn't know he was holding. Aiden hands and soft and looked so harmless but he had first hand experience of the strength in those thin arms and dainty fingers.

"Thanks for being here. You really have a nice voice, you should sing more often. " He beamed at her, returning to his usually cheery self.

"You really don't like your skin eh? Itching for a beating?" She scowled at him.

." Aww, come on. You know I'm right. But don't hate me though. " He laughed at her annoyed face not forgetting to shield himself in case she changed her mind and hate him.

"You're lucky today" she sighed, combed her long dainty fingers through her hair.

Her normal actions looked so beautiful like something straight out of a painting.

If Aiden didn't know her through character, he'd have fallen for her harmless posture.

Also, he only liked her as a sister.

"You know I'm not good with words but I feel like I should tell you this,

You shouldn't let your oast experiences rule present and future. Just because, it happened before doesn't mean it'd happen again.

As much I hate your childish antics, I know you're an amazing person. And it'll be Yolanda's bad luck if she let you go, not yours.

And if all goes to worse, we can just kidnap her." She winked.

Aiden who started feeling emotional again upon the start of her speech, burst into laughter.

He was wondering where his crazy little sister had gone to and now he knew.

He wiped his eyes off the tears that fell as he laughed, "Thank you Ever. And no worries, I'll definitely tell you first if the situation demands. "

His eyes shined with gratitude and the overwhelming feelings made Everlette feel uncomfortable.

She quckly bid good bye and ran away to her room.

Aiden shakes his head at her actions. She was just too cute. But he wouldn't tell her because he didn't want to loose anymore brain cells than he's already had.

He proceeded to change his sheets and to take a shower before going back to bed.

This time, he slept peacefully.

The following weeks came and went quite peacefully .

Aiden finally got the courage to ask Yolanda out.

They were progressing quite well. Everything was going on well for everyone. Well except for Everlette, who was being dog fed with their love.

Aiden just loved shoving his relationship in Everlette's face. Their public display of affection especially in front of her was driving her insane but she couldn't do anything.

She was jealous, oh hell no! She just didn't want to scare Yolanda off since Aiden hadn't shown his true nature to her yet.

She wasn't sure she'd be able to deal with an emotional Aiden sanely again. Dealing with emotions wasn't really her thing.

She would rather their annoying public display of affection than deal with a broken hearted Aiden. Twice is enough, she didn't need a third occurrence.

"Hey sis, how're you doing?" Aiden approached Everlette along with Yolanda.

"We saw each other just a few hours ago." She looked at him like the dumbest creature alive.

" Well, you're mood changed quicker than the direction of wind. Just wanted to check if you're making like a living hell for someone."

" Oh I wasn't, but now, I might just do it." It was obvious that Aiden just wanted to get on her nerves.

Since he knew how uncomfortable she was with display of emotions, he couldn't help but shove it into her throat every now and then. Plus, he was just collecting the debt she owed. She'd bullied him enough.

Yolanda who stood beside Aiden, well mostly in his arms since Aiden's hand laid snugly around her waist with her head of his torso decided to clear the air.

She knew how childish and pretty her boyfriend was and didn't want to sit in another argument between them.

"Hi, Everlette. Please don't mind him." She spoke softly, a little hesitant.

Truth be told she was quite scared of Everlette. The girl looked so innocent and delicate, completely harmless. But her instinct told her she wasn't to be triffled with.

She found her boyfriend to be very admirable just because he was so friendly and casual with the girl who was the best example for red roses with thorns. Beautiful and dangerous.

"Oh hi Yolanda. Don't worry I won't mind him." She also spoke softly. She knew Yolanda was scared of her for some reason, well anyone who meets is wary fo her except got that stupid cheery ball if sunshine named Aiden.
