We had declared war against the Empress. I heard the nobles whispering.

"They were saying things like that's the hero's sister."

"He obviously choose her because he knows something we don't."

"Has the Emperor chosen the crown prince out of her brothers due to contributions they have made?"

"Since she's the empress of the largest kingdom the Emperor will have no choice but to choose one of her brothers as the crown prince."

"Your right, if we don't want to go to war with them we won't have much of a choice. He will have to choose from her 3 brothers. All of them have proven themselves so far in this war."

"They all have used good strategies."

"I heard the one brother took out an entire platoon by himself."

"I heard her twin single handedly took over an enemy base."

"I heard the other one single handedly stopped one of our bases from being taken over."

As the attention drew to my full siblings, my half siblings looked infuriated. I could see the look in the guys face. They had stayed out of this and not truly tried to talk to Thomas. They hadn't realized that who he choose to marry was going to effect if they would be in the running for the next Emperor of our country. Now all of a sudden the people they had looked down on now seemed to have a chance and would likely be the next Emperor of Khari. They were at risk to losing what they had always assumed was there birthright.

"Father you can let this happen." His first born son said.

"He's right my love. We can't let that girl marry the Khista Emperor. It would only bring bad fortune to us. She doesn't even have training to rule, how could she fulfill her roles as an empress?" The Empress said.

My father took a deep breath and spoke.

"I'm aware we made a deal that you could choose out of my daughters who you wished to make your empress, but I wish you would reconsider. Morgan is the greatest beauty of our Empire, but she lacks in education and training. My Empress has pointed out she hasn't ever had a single tutor go to her palace." The Emperor said.

"Father, I'm sorry to interrupt. I wanted to tell you that you have been miss informed. It's true that I don't have as much training to rule an empire as my your other children but I have been tutored since I was 5 years old."

"Then can you tell us what subjects you have learned?" The Empress spat, clearly furious.

"I have learned history, theory, business, politics, advanced economics, policy making, negotiation, and diplomacy. I also learned foreign affairs."

"Can you prove this, and prove you had tutors?" The Emperor asked.

10 nobles stepped forwards. All the nobles who stepped forward were marquess or counts.

"These were my tutors father, they lived in our palace which is why you never saw them come and go." I said.

"I can Vogue for this you highness, as I was the one who appointed the tutors and oversaw not only her but her brothers educations as well." Grand Duke Elis said.

Grand Duke Elis was from my mother country. He held the highest position and became a very influential person in Khari. Which means that it can't even try to go against it since she has vogued for me and my tutors.

"Well then even I know who your Grad Duke Elis is, his reputation has even reach the ears of the nobles from my empire. I assume you are done with protesting my choice. After all it was the deal that I could choose freely from all of your daughters."

"Your correct. I just didn't want to send you someone who might be more harm to both of our empires, and who was unprepared. But I should of know Layla would take there educations very seriously and would have appointed the best tutors. I congratulate you both on your engagement."

"Thank you your highness."

"Thank you father."

"We shall talk more about this and arrangements tomorrow." My father said.

"Actually I regret to inform you, but me and my fiancé will be leaving by in the morning. We shall finish our arrangements and get married in my empire. We have already talked and already sent word back so there will be a room already for her to arrive and her personal maid has already sent word to the designers. I believe she will be better suited to join me since up until I assigned one of my personal maid to her she didn't even have one. She will be in better care under my watch. Also anything you may fear she still needs to learn I will be more than happy to hire the best tutors in my country to teach my beloved fiancé."

"As you wish." My father said. He couldn't say anything as they had just pointed out they didn't raise or take any care of the most popular prince and princess. It only fueled the commoners love for us, to know we did this without help of our titles. It's also said that my brothers don't discriminate between nobles and commoners out among there soldiers.

"I hope you except my engagement present, I will have new maids brought to take care of the 4th queen and wish to have your brothers brought back from war for our engagement party and wedding." My father said.

"Thank you." I replied.

"I hope everyone enjoys yourself, we now have news of this joyous occasion." My father said. With that the party returned.

Gossip only worsened due to the conversation we had. The emperor was also now in a tough spot. As now the entire empire was about to learn that he wasn't taking proper care of all of his children and the children who were born from a prisoner of war who's country was the entire reason for trade with other continents.
