Jacklyn

"Are you serious?" I look at my principal in disbelief.

"I am very serious, Miss Jae," he looked at me contently. "I have a strong belief that you would be a good choice to lead the exchange students around our school and be their guide while they are here."

"Can they even speak English?" I was still dumbfounded. "Because I certainly can't speak Korean."

"Would you stop being so difficult, Jacklyn?!" He slammed his hands on his desk. "I understand that you can't speak Korean, but they can't speak really good English. They try, though, and that's all we can ask. Now, I assure you, you are a perfect choice. Something tells me all of you will get along great. So to end this conversation, they will be here tomorrow. Be at the school by 7 a.m. sharp."

"Yes sir," I hung my head as I got up and left his office. Hailey, my best friend, met me outside.

"What did he need?" She asked.

"I'm the lucky contestant that gets to show the new kids around school tomorrow," I rolled my eyes. "Mr. Hedge said they can't speak English well, and I can't speak Korean, so I don't know why I was chosen."

"Wait," Hailey looked at me. "They're Korean?"

"I'm guessing so," I looked at her. "Don't get all excited now. I know how you are. I'm pretty sure it isn't any of your K-Pop boys."

"Did he tell you their names?" She looked hopeful.

"No," I said. "I have to wait until the morning. I have to be here by 7."

"Fun," she looked let down.

"Hailey," I grabbed her shoulder. "I'm sorry to let you down like that, but I really don't know anything than they are a group of 8 guys and they're Korean."

"It's fine," she smiled. "I understand. I guess I'll have to wait until I get to school tomorrow."

"You will be the first friend I will introduce them to," I hugged her. "How about we get out of here and go get some food?"

"We haven't done this in a minute," I stood in line beside Hailey.

"Because we're so busy with band," she sighed. "I'm glad everything has settled down. It is finally concert season."

"Agreed."

We got our food and sat down. We joked and talked for about 30 minutes until Hailey just all of a sudden stopped.

"Look," she whispered and pointed sightly.

She pointed to a group of guys. I didn't understand until they turned around. They were breathtaking. Everyone was tall with the exception of a silver-haired guy. The tallest, he looked absolutely amazing. The others were close in height, but one stood out. He had black hair with only a piece in the front that was blond. His smile beamed and his eyes shined.

"Wow," I choked. "They are beautiful."

"They are," Hailey said quietly.

We went to throw our stuff away to get a closer look. I wasn't looking where I was going because I was focused on the car. I bumped into the guy that caught my attention before. My butt hit the floor.

"Shit," I cursed.

"Are you okay?" a voice above me said.

"I'm fine," I tried to get up and was helped by the boy. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," he smiled. He looked at me for a moment. I had to look up at him slightly due to my lack of height.

"What is it?" I asked, kind of concerned.

"Nothing," he said. "I was just checking if you were okay."

"Oh," I ran a bit speechless. "I'm fine. It isn't the first time I've fallen in my life."

"Okay," he let go of my hand. "Have a good night!"

I snapped back to my senses. "Have a good night!" I smiled.

Hailey and I walked out of the restaurant to the car. I was still flustered from the incident that just happened.

"Are you really okay?" She asked me.

"You know I am," I started the car. I backed out of the parking lot and left. "Why are you asking?"

"You do know who that was, right?" She looked at me.

"Should I?"

"THAT WAS FREAKING THEM!" She screamed at me.

"Hahaha," I said. "Good one."

"Whatever," she smirked. "You'll see."
