First Volume will entail the journey of the protaginist and his close friends in the Tutorial. As they had only entered the Tower, they are still naive and immature so expect the 1st Volume to contain so much drama as that would mold them into who they will become in the next Volume.

Killing the SS-Grade Monster [Valiant Wyvern] (1)

"I have enough stack damage now!"

Standing atop an S-grade monster carcass, Alab uttered to Kevin. They had been venturing from territory to territory, killing every S-grade monster they encountered.

After four hours of hunting, Alab looked at his stacked damage.

[Stack Damage: 13,344]

With their hunts concentrated only on Alab stacking damage while monsters were being pinned down by tamed monsters of Hiraya, Alab was able to attain tremendous stack damage of 5 digits.

Nodding his head to Alab, Kevin then shifted his gaze ahead. They had already cleared the 7 neighboring territories from yesterday. And now, the next territory is ruled by the SS-grade monster [Valiant Wyvern].

It would be their first time fighting against an SS-grade monster and hadn't gauged their full strength yet.

Making his gaze reach his members, Kevin uttered.

"We will be attacking the Wyvern's nest. If we defeated that, we will be able to follow the player from there on", he uttered.

When Hiraya shared a vision with her tamed [Agile Rat], she saw the player still loafing in the territory next to the Wyvern's. It was clear that he was the reckless type as he remained strolling, enjoying the wilderness like it was some sort of attraction.

Still, that made the group grateful as that bought them enough time to catch up with him.

Nodding their heads, the three players expressed their readiness to fight the Wyvern.

For this fight, their method was simple. Since Althea's [Life Drain] wouldn't do much other than restricting monsters above S-grade, she would only have to conserve her strength for the upcoming fight with Liam.

Besides, she could only use it five times so she could throw 3 attacks at most to the Wyvern to restrict its movements if the situation came to edge.

As for Hiraya, her only attack skill [Ulgram's breath] could not kill a monster above S-grade at the moment, not to mention that it would exhaust her entire mana. In this fight, her tamed monsters would play a vital role in restricting the Wyvern.

Lastly, Kevin. His [Domineering Sword Slash] skill with 1,000 damage would only aid in inflicting a little to moderate damage to the monster.

Considering all these, they could only rely on one skill to defeat the Wyvern - Alab's stack damage.

Still, they were uncertain as to whether 13,000+ damage would be enough to kill the monster as they had nothing but presumptions to count on.

"Alab, just stay on the rear. When I tell you to attack, only then will you use your skill", Kevin uttered in a serious tone.

Wyvern was a flight monster, it could avoid Alab's attack gliding through the air. Thus, Kevin proposed that they would create a vital moment for Alab's skill.

"Noted", Alab replied.

Breathe

Letting out a deep breath, the group glanced at the territory ahead. Riding on S-grade monsters who now looked smaller than tall trees in the deeper part, the group entered the territory of the Wyvern.

—--

It took them no time to witness the enemy they prepared to fight for as as soon as they entered, a massive winged monster was awaiting them.

Settling on a tall tree, looking below at them, the Wyvern flapped its golden wings as it levitate through the air.

Its golden eyes released a fierce look at the group, appearing to be aware of their arrival. It was a massive 50 meters tall dragon, expanding 60 meters in width with its wings unwrapped. Its head was as big as an adult Elephant with a pointed tail that could pierce through gold.

It was the bipedal monster [Valiant Wyvern].

ROARRR

Releasing its first warning, the Wyvern warned the group to retreat as it established its role as the territory's Lord.

But, the group had exactly come for the Wyvern. They couldn't possibly retreat now.

With their cold feet gradually subsiding, the group shortly went into position with Kevin's shout as the signal.

"Move!"

Alab retreated to the rear as he was carried by the [Nightmare Skull]. Hiraya then jumped to his side upon commanding her tamed beast to assault the Wyvern.

Being carried by the [Vengeful Dove], Althea flew closer to the Wyvern. Following her were the other three tamed aerial monsters of Hiraya. And finally, Kevin, holding the S-grade Sword [Sword of Avarice], ride atop the [Corporal Lion] as it led the ground-type monsters.

ROARRRR

With its 2nd warning being ignored, fume was discharged from its mouth as the Wyvern finally fell into a rage.

A day ago, it felt the tremor coming from the neighboring territories. It was clearly aware that a group of humans dared to challenge and slaughter its kin monsters in the Center part.

Monsters above S-grade possessed little to more intelligence depending on their bloodlines. As Wyvern is a far descendant of the dragon clan, it possessed an intellect that was considered outstanding among the same-level monsters.

Gliding through the air, the Wyvern flapped its wings as a gust of wind formed blasting the incoming aerial monsters.

"Ack!"

Gripping the Dove's neck tightly, Althea felt her body being continuously pushed by the strong wind.

The gust assaulted the 4 monsters as they tried to reach the Wyvern. Their speed was constantly restricted by the strong wind as they felt their massive body submitting to the gust.

If not for Hiraya's strong command authority, the monsters would have fled for their lives by now.

"Just continue!", Hiraya screamed as she utilized her skill.

On the ground, the Lion led 9 other monsters as they rushed into the area below the Wyvern, waiting for the right time.

"Faster", with Hiraya's command, they pushed their bodies to their limits as their mana was depleting at the speed of light. The S-grade monster became a streak of light as they followed the Wyvern that was flying away from the scene.

"I can't get closer to it!", Althea screamed as the strong wind kept pushing them back. They were not given a chance to enter the 20-meter zone close to the Wyvern.

"Tsk, use your skill! Now!", with Hiraya's command, four ground-type monsters released a roar as beams of different elements rushed out of their mouth. Their bodies dropped on the trembling ground as the attack had cost them their entire mana.

With the attacks coming its way, the Wyvern halted flapping its wings as it evaded the attack, moving to the right side.

"Throw me!"

Still evading the last beam, it heard a small voice of a girl human before it felt a huge amount of life force exiting its body.

"Life Drain! Life Drain! Life Drain!"

SCREECH

It had no time to look at its assailant as two more attacks followed. A huge amount of life force then surged out of its body as it lost its strength and hurled falling to the ground.

THUD

With a huge force, its massive body hit the trembling ground as it started to recollect its strength.

But it was not given time to recuperate as it heard several boisterous footsteps piercing its ears.

In no time, as if preparing for this exact moment, 6 monsters came rushing to the recuperating Wyvern, immediately assaulting the flight monster on the ground.

ROARRR!!!

SCREECHHHHH

The Wyvern felt its body being beaten to a pulp as massive paws rammed its body. Its wings were torn into parts as it shrieked with pain.

And when the monsters were about to celebrate their win, the enraged Wyvern shook its massive body, sending its assailants flying for at least 5 meters. With a deafening roar, the Wyvern stood with its feet as it dragged its spent body to the air. But with its broken wings, it could only fly for ten meters from the ground before it dropped again to the ground with heavy force.

ROARRRRRR

This time, it was completely furious. Opening its mouth, sparks started to generate in it. It grew larger and larger until it occupied the entirety of its exaggeratedly opened mouth and looking at the monsters that assaulted it earlier, its madness reached its peak as it violently fired the large beam of scorching fire at the monsters that were about to pounce on it again.

In no time, the breath of fire burned the monsters into nothingness, bringing severe pain to Hiraya as she dropped to her knees. It appeared that her tamed monster's death would cost her pain from the severed connection. It was one of the cons of the tamer job.

With 4 monsters instantly burned into nothingness, the other 2 monsters had their tails between their legs as they escaped for their lives. Haraya was in her weakened state, weakening her authority with the tamed monsters too.

Seeing that Althea, who had herself been thrown earlier to get closer with the Wyvern rapidly and cast her skill three times for secured success, was now being shaken off by the Dove as it whirled its body, Hiraya recollected her strength as she threw up blood.

"Hiraya, don't force yourself too much!", Alab uttered without even looking at Hiraya, after all, he had to focus on the fight ahead and wait for his turn to attack.

"No, I can do more. Heed my command you shits!", she uttered as she solidified her authority with her tamed monsters once more. Then, she threw up blood as she kept her feet standing.

"Good, Hiraya", Kevin mumbled as he hid behind a large tree close to the Wyvern. The monster was still on a rampage as the surrounding area was burned to nothingness.

"That monster, it's stronger than we thought.", Kevin mumbled as even faced with 6 S-grade monsters, the Wyvern remained victorious. If not for Althea's skill, they would have no chance to weaken this monster.

"Now it's my turn", Kevin muttered as he glanced at the Wyvern being confronted by the 2 monsters that nearly escaped before.

On its head, 3 aerial monsters came hurling downwards as they similarly assaulted the Wyvern.

ROARRRR

It seemed that its potent breath of fire had a long cooldown as it didn't use it the second time yet. With this in mind, Kevin emerged from behind the three as he pointed his sword upfront.

With his posture akin to a great knight, with calm breath, he utilized his skill.

"Domineering Sword Slash!", he mumbled as a massive blade exited the S-grade sword and came hurling towards the Wyvern. It was an attack carrying 1,000 damage plus the 278 damage from the sword!

But...
