Chapter 2 Intruder

True enough, this night was indeed beautiful as the moon shone like a bright night pearl. One cannot ignore such a beauty.

A towering tall and lean black masked figure seemed to leap around the rooftop of the palace. He seemed lost and was finding a way to memorize the plan and structure of the palace. He squatted at some hidden place from time to time to draw up a map on a cloth. It was difficult to figure out his intrusion if one does not has a high martial art skill.

"Shit! This palace seemed to be too complicated. I had been drawing for two hours still, not even half of the palace's map is done!"

A country with one thousand years long history, the Heavenly Long kingdom owned one of the most prestigious and exquisite palaces in the world. The palace where the King of Heavenly Long resided was one of a kind. The design was full of ancient elements where three thousand workers were required to build it. It was said that the palace took three whole years to be completed. Some of the materials used were even got transported all the way from neighbour countries. All materials were the best of the best.

To be exact, the palace took a person about five hours to tour around the whole compound.

The four walls of the palace were built extremely high with concrete material. There were four gates connected to the world outside. The main gate would be the North gate. Each of the gates was guarded strictly with entering and leaving protocols.

The buildings were all navy blue concept with the golden and silver lining. There are many divided buildings inside the palace itself. There are two main courts, the inner court, which is the Southern Court and also the outer court, the Northern Court. The inner court consists of the courtyards and chambers for the emperor and his harem. The outer court consists of various official event places such as the Supreme Royal Court for politics assemble, the Golden Royal Garden for festive assemble and the Royal National Bank for national treasures. There are many more division under each of the courts and thus making it really complicated.

At the main gate, there was the highest building in the imperial city, which was the Long Zhen Tower. From there, one can observe clearly on what was happening in every corner of the palace. There were fire lights gradually alighted from one building to another building. It was the imperial shadow guards releasing signal on intrusion. Gradually, the signal reached Long Zhen tower.

"This servant greets Zhuren" An imperial shadow guard cupped his hand and bowed to a dashingly cold figure in dark green robe.

"How was it? Any new movement from him?"

"Reply to Zhuren, the black masked guy is currently mapping out the palace's floor plan."

"Oh? Benwang wants to see what tricks is he playing with me." There was a dark hint of devilish tone from him.

"Then Zhuren, should we capture him now?"

"Awhile more, let him put down his guard first."

The beauty of the royal palace seemed to be enhanced by the moonlight tonight. Those silvery and golden linings sparkled a little and glowed subtly when the firelight flashed through.

There were some imperial guards doing their inspection routine in the Royal National Bank. A petite black figure was hiding behind a huge wall in order to escape their inspection. After the guards left, she quickly flipped through the wall of the Royal National Bank and she was immediately speechless.

"Why is this place so huge...Ugghh! I have been toying around for two hours and now there are so many sub-buildings in the Royal National Bank..."

The petite figure chanting from door to door hoping she will found what she wanted...

"Silver and Gold division..." Nope!

"Books division..." Nope!!

"Jewel and gem division..." Nope!!!

"Cultural relics division..." Nope!!!!

"Instrument..." Nope!!!!!

And she kept scanning till...

"Paints and Scrolls division..." Oh Yes!!! Before she managed to take a further step...

"INTRUDER!!! CATCH THE INTRUDER!!!

"SHIT??? I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT IN ???" She shrieked in her heart and quickly tried to leave that place. Before she flew up into the air, she glanced back.

'I will definitely get to see you the next time... Wait for me!'

Hence, she leapt off onto the rooftop and vanished.

At the other side, the sound of sheeshee shuashua can be heard. There were two figures equally tall and dashing was fighting fiercely on the rooftop. The sound of sword clashing and spiking was evident through the howling wind. They were both fighting over a piece of white cloth and that cloth seemed to be torn apart soon! Gripping on one end, the man in dark green robe pierce his swords through that piece of white cloth. Without delay, the black masked man suddenly grabbed a handful of white powder and smashed them into the opposite! He fled away!

Just when those ignorant villagers are enjoying the captivating full moon scenery, one can tell there's something suspicious in the town. There are hundreds of imperial shadow guards dressed in black clothing scattered around chasing a smart petite intruder from the palace to the town. The night is bright but nobody could tell this intruder is a man or a woman as the intruder's movements are as swift as the wind. She was quick yet calm.

'These stupid imperial guards!' She kept cursing while heading towards the outskirt of the Long Men town.

'Huh! Is it that easy to capture me? Shit! I just wanted to have a look of the portrait of my ancestor, alright!!!! Never thought that the security of the palace is tighter than what I had imagined! Ugghh...'

'Shit!!!! Why are there so many of them?? Helllooo!! I am just a small intruder do you guys need to be so serious????'

'Let me showcase some of my skills here! Luckily my Qinggong had reached the master level a long time ago!'

At first, the imperial shadow guards were confused as the intruder was clearly fighting their master. Just when they were about to reach the fighting side, they suddenly felt there was another black figure flashed through in the air. Without giving a thought, they traced up to this 'black figure'. One by one, in the end, the whole troop actually was fooled.

"We have to hurry up! This guy is actually so good in his Qinggong!"

" We cannot afford to lose that intruder's track! He had a battle with the fourth prince just now!"

"Aiii! To be able to fight the same level as our master.... this...."

"Master had said that this intruder is really suspicious! He was trying to memorize and draw up the palace 'map!"

"Hurry up! We have to get him no matter what!"

The imperial shadow guards were all well trained. It could be said that they were elites among the elites. However... in regards to Qinggong, they were no matches to that small figure.

Soon, the small figure stably yet wickedly runaway from them until they reach the entrance of the forest.

In an instant, she fled and vanished into the forest.
