1 Beginning Of The Confusion
- "Sophie, time to wake up!"
- "Five more minutes, please."
- "But you are late, you should get up before the bus comes."
- "Okay mum, I'm gonna get ready and come downstairs."
It was still 6:15, but what can she do?! School starts at 7:30. She was almost ready when her phone rang. It was her best friend Maya. They are best friends since kindergarten, and always doing everything together. She was almost at her house. Sophie got ready and get downstairs, to eat her breakfast. When she was eating, her dad came into the kitchen and sat with her.
- "Wow, honey it smells like a doughnut factory! I assume it is as delicious as smell."
- "Hey dad."
- "Hi sweetheart. If you are down I can take you and Maya to school, I have time before the flight."
- "Wait, are you living country? Again?!"
- "I suppose I am. Look I know how you feel about that but trust me it will be only for a week, after that, I'll be home. I promise."
- "Okay."
"Ding dong"
- "I'll get a door, it's probably Maya."
- "Hey Sophie, you ready?"
- "Yes, I'm ready. Come on inside my dad will take us to school."
- "yes captain."
After they finished breakfast they take their jackets and got in the car.
At school:
- "Here, take this I know you need this money for your girly things."
- "Thank you, dad."
- "Sure honey, okay I have to go now be careful and love you."
- "Love you too dad."
- "Okay Maya I have to go to math class and then I have history, so…. I'll see you at lunch."
- "kk, see you."
At history class:
- "Sophie, did you finish your homework?" Says her teacher Mr.Morgan.
- "Yes Mr.Morgan, I did finish homework."
- "So there is no problem and you understand everything?
- "Yes I did."
- "Perfect then.
After mathematics and history class, Sophie and Maya were in the cafeteria eating their lunch, when suddenly they heard gunshots. Everyone was quiet, no one was talking. After five minutes, of silence, some guys came into the cafeteria. They were wearing black suits and had guns.
- "Everyone, take your phones and put them in that bag. If you don't want to die, do as we say and everyone will be safe and no one gonna hurt!"
- "Do we have to sit here all day?" Says Sophie with a very curious face.
- "if you don't like here you can leave right now, but trust me you don't wanna know what will happen to you after you try to leave!"
- "Sir is that supposed to scare me?! Because I don't think I look like that I am scared!!"
- "Sophie what are you doing?! Shut your mouth, and be quiet!" Says Maya to Sophie.
- "you should listen to your friend 'little girl'. Or I'll make sure to make you quiet by myself!"
- "EXCUSE ME?! What did you just call me?! How dare you to call me that... I'm not your 'little girl'!!!"
- "I SAID SHUT UP!!! Or I'll shoot you with this gun!"
- "Okay, go ahead and shoot... If you dare!"
- "So you don't care if you die or live?! Alright then I'll kill your friends first and you will watch them suffering and dying!"
That's when he pointed the gun at one of the kids. Sophie didn't want them dead so she shouted:
- "Okay I'm quiet... I promise. Just don't kill them."
- "Very good"
Everything was quite okay, none of the kids were anxious, until... Someone called and they dragged everyone out of the cafeteria and talked with them individually. No one knew what was happening. Soon enough it was Sophies time, but this time they took Maya with her. They get into one of the empty classes and they started to ask them some questions:
- "Name?"
- "You mean my name?"
- "Then who else is here to ask?!"
- "My name is Maya Hechins." Says Maya with an extremely scared voice.
- "Well my name is the name that my parents gave me and the last name is that my father had!"
- "And what is that name?!"
When she was going to answer someone came into the room with an incredibly difficult face you would not know if it was scared or annoyed. He warned the one who was asking questions with something really important. Because after that they dragged Sophie out of the school not a class but school. They got in the car and headed to a road that goes to the forbidden forest. Well because of that she was very scared but at the same time, she was very interested in the forest.
First going into the forest you would memorize the big dark green aesthetic wood with impressively high trees. After a few kilometers of the wood, you are going inside an incredibly beautiful spring blossom full of Sakura trees. Sakura's leaves were falling like pink snow and the views were on another level. The pink snow was like a carpet on the alley. On the way, Sophie's mind was occupied by thoughts about the alley
"Why it was forbidden? Why no one could go there? What was something the government fears for that forest to be that scared? What they are hiding from us?" It was something that she could not get rid of of the head.
After a few more minutes of riding, they arrived at the entrance of the tremendous house. It was like a Castle. The area was leaving an old-style feeling, it was like traveling in the past.
- "We are here, you can get out of the car!"
- "WOW! This place is amazingly glorious."
- "That's where you should live from now on."
- "Live here?! What do you mean??"
- "You will know after meeting him."
- "Him? What is his name? Can you tell me that?"
- "his name is Lucy for short, but his real name is Lucifer Marmossa!"
- "Wait you mean Lucifer like a devil? Also, why is his name Lucifer? And why do they name kid Lucifer? Is it because that Lucifer's name means morning star? I am confused about this situation! I need answers!!"
- "Take her inside. She's questioning too much!"
When they get inside the first thing that eye could reach was the enormous hall. There were paintings all over the walls. It was like a gallery. After a few more steps to keep going too deep, you could see huge stairs.
They took Sophie to one of the wide-open rooms. It was Lucifer's main office. There were two comfortable armchairs, in front of that was a massive glass table, and then there was a chair for the boss. The walls were painted and not only walls but the roof too. In corners of the room, there were monuments of humans and the Devil.
- "I was waiting for you?"
- "Why's that?"
- "They didn't tell you, right?"
- "As you see, no they didn't! And who exactly are you talking about?"
- "Your "parents"!"
- "What do you mean?"
- "They are not your real parents! But I am your father... Biological father!"
- "No, that's impossible! They would never lie to me!"
- "But they did!"
- "No, maybe you are the one who is telling an untruth."
She tried to run but they caught her and take her back to the office. It was hard for her to believe that her parents were lying to her for 18 years. And this unknown person was the right. That's why Lucifer asked her to stay and listen. Sophie wasn't a girl who would have made the decision that hurts innocents... So she stayed and decided to listen even tho she could not believe him.
- "Everything started when my father was on a mission to kill the whole gang of assassins. Of course, he killed all of them but the assassin's leader had a daughter named Lilly. When my father took her home she was only 4 and I was 6. After that we were inseparable, doing everything together. At that time we couldn't imagine that life was that hard. Later my father died in a car accident... Well, they said that it was a car accident, but I still don't believe it. My aunt raised us. It was hard for her. Until I was 18 she was the one who was taking care of the problems that your mother and I were causing. When we get to the age of 25, we confess our love for each other and get married. Get a new house… this house and hired some servants to look after for home until we were gone for some reasons. It was 2 April of 2003 that is the day when we get news from a doctor after the analysis that Lilly was pregnant. We were so happy it was the best nine-month of our life. After your birth on 1 December of 2003, one of our servants kidnapped you. We were searching for you everywhere we could, but it was hopeless... It was hopeless for the next 18 years."
- "Wait, what happened to her after that?" says Sophie with a tear in her eyes.
- "She died with an illness."
- "But why? Why did they kidnap me? They... Did they even want money instead of me to trade or something?!"
- "That's the worst part. The only thing they wanted was a daughter. They couldn't have a baby because of the husband's illness and you were the solution."
- "I... I don't know what to believe. I just can't. It is so sudden."
- "I know but it's better to get the truth from me."
- "But it hurts, so badly."
- "I'm sorry honey, I know how hard it is for you."
After a few seconds of silence, someone rushed into the office:
- "THEY ARE HERE!!!"
- "How did they get here? We should go now, we have no time left. Sophie now get up and come with me!"
In that hurry, they rushed to the library. There was a hidden door back of the bookshelf. They get to that cabin and waited for the killers to leave. The killers wanted Sophie dead. Who is Sophie? Is she that special that everyone wants her dead? And who are her parents?
They searched for them everywhere but in vain until someone betrayed Lucifer and warned them about the cabin behind a bookshelf. They immediately rushed to the library but at that very moment blue light came out of nowhere and swords that were for Sophie to kill, someone made them stop. It seemed like everything stopped around Sophie. The green flame was all over the room. It was glorious seeing this beautiful scene but this was the reason why Sophie passed out, it was cold, cold that made her shiver. And the last thing Sophie remember was a male creature's voice:
- "Now you are mine and no one's gonna save you from my claws."
