1 Author's short note & character introduction

The novel was originally going to be much shorter, so the locks began early, and I am so sorry about this. I would change it if I could... TT-TT as compensation volume 2 and the sequel will be free to read.

I would like to point out that I am not writing this in my native language and with my dyslexia, I have tried to keep the writing style simple but detailed enough. Because of this and my day job, my publishing pace is a bit irregular, but I aim to publish at least one or two chapters a week.

I really appreciate it if you point out any mistakes as it helps me to learn and become a better writer. I am grateful for all reviews, comments, and constructive criticism. <3

Trigger warnings can be read in chapter 3 'Freedom' and please read them if you are sensitive to certain topics. This book is going to deal with dark and evil themes, (as well as sweet and spicy scenes) and I wouldn't want to hurt anyone with them.
