Chris and Aiyana sat in the waiting room, watching Sky restlessly pace around the room. Round and round in circles he went, like a dog chasing its tail. Uncomfortable restless and worry oozing off of him in waves.

“Sky…”Chris called out.

“Stop?” Aiyana chimed in.

“But…” Sky responded.

“But what?” They interjected in unison.

“But... something could be happening to them right this minute. She could faint in pain? And when she faints she would stop bearing down and stuff and then the baby would be stuck in her vagina and suffocate to death and then because of that she would also die. I would lose my little daughter and her mother in one single moment.”

“So, what are the doctors and nurses for?” Aiyana asked exasperated.

“As in?” Sky asked.
