57. Schemes and Complications: Unknowingly Treading in a Dangerous Minefield

"Not now, but I will surely look for the 'third party'. I don't have the strength and resources to look for a needle in a haystack right now," Blaze mumbled drowsily.

An abrupt knock made him open his eyes.

"Which demon is at my door? Can I at least get some sleep?" Blaze manages to refrain from raining a torrent of curses at the person who interrupted his sleep.

Slowly, he got off his bed and walked to the door. He opened the door with half-closed eyes, but the person he saw made his eyes snap open.

"Hello, Miss Elsa. How may I help you?" Blaze asked with a scrunched-up face, guessing the reason for her sudden knock.

'She must be here for a healing session!'

"Won't you at least let me in?" Elsa asked.
