Chapter 14

The next morning

My phone started ringing.

"Hello," I answered the phone.

"Morning, Tiffany. Ed here. I am downstairs at the lobby. You can come down once you are ready," said Ed.

"Morning, Ed. I will be down in 5 minutes," I replied.

I finished checking the hotel one last time before leaving my room.

I texted Jennifer before leaving the room. No reply. She is most probably still sleeping. I am sure she will reply me once she saw my message.

"Tiffany!" Ed called out while waving at me at the main entrance of the hotel.

I walk towards him.

"Sorry for keeping you waiting," I apologized when I was standing in front of him.

"No problem I was early anyway. Let's go. The driver is waiting outside," answered Ed.

He helped me with my luggage and handed it to a middle aged man in grey color uniform who came out of the car when he saw us.

"Tiffany meet Uncle Wong our driver," introduced Ed.

"Hi Uncle Wong. Nice to meet you. I am Tiffany," I introduced myself.

"Nice to meet you Miss Tiffany," Uncle Wong answered.

Then all three of us entered into a white Well Fire.

"Here are your daily schedule with our young Miss Bella," said Ed while handling me a piece of paper.

"Thank you," I replied.

I looked over the timetable and try to memorize it all the way to the mansion.

It was fulled with activities; preschool, gymnastic classes, art classes, music classes, public speaking classes and tutorial classes and she is only four years old!

After nearly 40 minutes, the car slowed down and turned into a big mansion.

The mansion is huge. It is grey and white in color. There is a huge balcony on the first floor as well as an Olympic size swimming pool beside the garden. There are a few man in suit walking around the compounds.

"May I ask who are those guys in the suit?" I asked Ed curiously.

"They are the bodyguards here. We have a team of them who patrol the mansion ground 24/7. It is very safe here," answered Ed.

"How big is this place? I am worried I might get lost in the house itself," I told Ed.

"I will give you a tour of the house in awhile. Here is a map of the house," he pulled out a piece of paper and handed it over to me.

The Well Fire stopped in front of the main entrance and I got off the car.

"Here goes," I said to myself.
