Chapter 11

"Louis, I have a great news for you. I found a candidate for the nanny position. Would you like to interview her?" Ed informed me when he came to fetch me from my condominium.

"You know that I have to fly out tonight, so I do not have the time to. I trust that you would make the right choice. Do a background check on her first," I answered Ed.

"Alright, I will arrange an interview with her tomorrow morning and ask Mr. Chan to do a background check on her," Ed answered.

"Have you booked me the earliest flight out to Shanghai?" I asked Ed.

"Yes, your flight is at 2'o clock in the morning. I have packed all your clothing and the luggage is at the back of the car. I will drive you straight to the airport after the award ceremony," reply Ed.

"Wake me up when we arrive. I want to take a short nap. It will be a long night tonight," I told Ed.

After dropping Louis at the entrance of the Mama Award, Ed calls Tiffany.

"Hello," Tiffany answered her phone.

"May I speak to Tiffany please?" Ed asked.

"This is she. May I know who is on the line?" Tiffany enquired.

"I am Ed. Your friends, Jennifer and Jeff gave me your number. They recommended you for the position of nanny," explained Ed.

"Yes, they told me about it," Tiffany answered.

"I was wondering if you will be free for an interview tomorrow morning around 10 o' clock at your hotel lobby?" Ed asked.

"That should be fine," said Tiffany.

"Great! I see you tomorrow then. Have a good evening then," said Ed.

"Ok, see you. Bye." answered Tiffany.

"Bye." Ed said and ended the call.

With a sigh of relief, Ed walks into the Mama Award Ceremony.
