"Oh, Balanga! Who else is Balanga there? Take your seats." A sweaty jeep barker yells at Decena Ave at Abucay Cafe and Garden.
Miggy and Benj hurried to get in the jeep followed by their forced friend, Calev. The two will go to the newly opened mall in Balanga town and they will sight-see the beautiful college students there.
They included Calev because he was too KJ and still has no girlfriend.
"Tell me why I agreed to this?" Calev asked himself annoyed as he stared sharply at the two friends who're professionals when it comes to flirting with a woman.
"The ambiance here is unpleasant." Benj commented while waiting for the two to attend the guard who checks the inside of their bags. He entered first so the guard checked him first.
They decided to eat samgyupsal at a Korean restaurant first. I guess that was the only place they would go on a trip inside this newly established mall. Just like what Benj says, there's no beautiful in this place.
"I'll just go and get some coffee. Do you also want one?" Calev asked his two friends who were already sitting and just waiting at their order in their table.
"Where are you going, bro? There is no coffee shop nearby." Miggy stops his friend. The distance between the nearest coffee shop and the mall where they are is also quite far.
"Beanery. Do you like it too?" He asked them again but the two just shook their heads.
He left and rode a tricycle to the coffee shop.
When he returned, there were more people than ever before. Today is the grand opening of the mall.
"Oh, shit!" He turned to the woman carrying a T-Square. The woman's technical pens fell to the floor. His friends help her pick up the technical pens that the woman dropped.
He frowned as the woman bent down and the bag pack attached to the girl's back also fell from her arm. He almost blushed when he saw the woman's back.
A huge dark spot was visible on the back of her maroon pants. It was obviously a spot of dried blood because of menstruation. He knew of it because he lived with his mom and two sisters.
He quickly approached and immediately took the varsity jacket inside his bag then covered the back part of the woman's pants.
The woman turned around when she felt his presence. "Excuse me?" she said with a raised eyebrow and looked him in the eye.
"Bro, why? Is it cold?" Benj asked him in surprise. Looking at him and his jacket that's wrapped on the woman's behind.
"What's your problem?" The woman asked again.
He could not say that her period got on her pants so he just covered the back of it. He thought as if the woman might suddenly feel ashamed when he said that. He also does not want others to insult the woman. He does not know what to do.
He decided to just tie the jacket around the woman's waist and not speak anymore.
Miggy and Benj's eyes almost popped out as well as the woman's at what he did.
When he had finished what he was doing, he turned around in the chair opposite Miggy. He put the bag down on the seat next to him.
Benj acted as if he's crying and wiping away tears with a lettuce leaf. "My baby is now a man!" he proudly says.
