1 Chapter 2

It began to ran harder about 10 minutes after I left Le' Caronola, so I ran the rest of the way. I got to the Pit in about 45 minutes, a new record for myself. I walked through the front gates of the Pit, flashing my wrist tattoo to the mercenaries standing there.

The two crossed swords tattoo represented the Pit and those who live there. The Pit is a bunch of old apartment complexes, alleyways filled with rats, drug stores, old gas stations, and clubs. Try to imagine the darkest, most criminal, murder place in the world. Now add random puddles that you hope to god is just water, stray feral animals running around, and rats. Take all of that, and that is the Pit. Only the strong survive here, if you're not then your either killed or stolen for the zoos.

The zoos are a place where you are put on display for your beauty, your body, and your breed. The zoos are where they take the captured tri- breeds and some cross-breeds if they are half mythical animal because the mythical animals are rare and you only see maybe 1 every 5 years. Moms says that it is dangerous to be out alone because I have two types of mythical breeds in me. I try to listen to her but sometimes I can't help it because i have to go places for work and I can't be around anyone. So I just try to get home quickly.

At last I get to the steps of the rundown apartment building me, my mom, and siblings live in. I open the door and walk up the 5 flights of stairs, I walk past Mrs. Makos door, and past Mr. Friciskys door. I get to room 57 and open the door.
