Welcome Home

Its evening time around 6 pm, Tsubaki Asahina coming home from work exhausted. The Asahina residence is just a two story house with four bedroom, once you enter the house you will see three doors and a stair leading to the second floor. One to the left leads to the living room. The other one on the right,leads to the kitchen and dining. Lastly, the door next to the stairs leads to the comfort room . For Tsubaki, he felt something was wrong, he noticed there was another pair of shoes. He heard some voices leading to the kitchen. He removed his shoes and walked going to the dinning room door. He was about to open the door. Someone opened the door and smiled.

"Welcome back .."a familiar voice said. His faced slightly red. Its Minami Daidouji, junior in his old middle school. " Hhiiii Mina-chan" in a surprised tone. "

Tsubaki said " I thought your in the US?"

Minami answered " Yeah wait is that how you say to someone you haven't seen for years hahaha"

Tsubaki " its not like that " slightly blushing. "Wait minute why are you in the house??"

Minami "Ohhh, senpai you haven't changed at all haha"

Tsubaki " Am I the only who didn't know you are coming back?!"

Minami" I just wanted to surprise you and Natsume-senpai see me at the airport" chuckled

Tsubaki " Of all people why Natsume , I can do it" voice feeling annoyed that Natsume is the first person to see Minami

MInami trying to explain " But senpai, you are busy at work thats what Natsume senpai said so I'm here to surprise you"

Tsubaki tried to be calm and patted MInami on the head. "Welcome home"

Tsubaki went to the kitchen in so much disbelief. Thinking no one told him that Minami is back. When he reached in the kitchen . He saw his twin brother Natsume ( not identical twins) , his mom preparing dinner.

Tsubaki tried to be calm but it was obvious his annoyed. Tsubaki said to Natsume " I heard you went to the airpot"sarcasticalle

Natsume pretended not hear anything and concentrated to cook. His mom who answered back, " Tsu-tsu hi can you help me set the table. I'm sure Mina-chan is hungry"

Minami answered " Ahm not that much antie. Me and big brother Natsume ate some snacks before coming here"

Tsubaki " ooooooohhhh you guys ate" annoyed tone of voice. Natsume just hit his head.

Natsume"Let me remind you BROTHER I have a girlfriend and Mina-chan is like my sister"

Minami " Yeah senpai...you were just to busy with work"

Tsubaki "Unlike you both I have a so called JOB"

Minami annoyed with what he said.

Minami " Your so called "JOB" is so important. Why wont you marry your job"

Natsume "Mina-chan"

Minami stopped and left the kitchen. Tsubaki felt, he said something insensitive to Minami.

Tsubaki tried to run after Minami and grabbed her by the arm. He saw the expression on Minami's eyes. His heart felt an ache seeing Minami sad. Tsubaki suddenly hugged her.

Tusabaki: I'm sorry mina-chan, Welcome home Mina-chan" his voice turned soft while hugging Minami. Natsume ruining the moment separating the two .

Natsume : " Tsubaki stop hugging Minami like shes a child and Minami dont allow yourself to be hugged by this person " (annoyed voice)

Tsubaki( pointing at Natsume ): Stop that Im not a beast who will eat little Minami . Im just apologizing to her

Natsume was about to say something. When their mom interrupted.

Mrs. Asahina: Ohhh Mina-chan, Im so sorry with Tsu-tsu and Nasu . They are acting like animals. Her voice is so soft and gentle but her actions speaks differently hitting her two boys on the head.

Minamai laughed and I've missed this moments its like were still in school. The room became so vibrant. Everyone started to eat and never ending of questions and answer. Its like a long night of catching up. Tsubaki tries to catch glances of Minami. All grown from the junior in middle school, now all so mature. He can still a touch of Minami he knew before. Natsume on the other hand, trying to absorb what Minami has to say. But the night has to end sometime. Dinner has ended and MInami has to go home. Her cab is waiting outside. Mrs. Asahina felt sad trying to stop MInami from leaving.

Mrs. Asahina: Dont leave with this animal

Minami: I know you dont mean that hehe (in a giggly manner)

Mrs. Asahina hugged her good-bye while the two boys waved good-bye. Minami left.

Tsubaki went straight to his room. He opened one of his drawer and took a photo album while he was skimming to the pages of the album. Then suddely a picture fell on the floor. He starred at it and a smile on his face. Suddenly his phone rang.....
