A passing breeze greeted Hisaki but, her eyes remained on the mirage of her old man.

Heisuke slowly turned around, his lips were still humming to the familiar melody. In his arms, a young girl in a yellow dress was sleeping with her little head nestling on his chest.

Hisaki blinked her eyes, feeling tears welling up. The melody was gently cut off when Heisuke stopped humming. She could see how fond his smile was, meant to the little angel in his embrace.

"My princess," Heisuke murmured, his eyes were so gentle, "Sleep well, my dear. Papa and Mama love you, our precious flower."

A kiss was pressed softly on the side of the little one's tiny head, conveying his heartfelt adoration to her.

A drop of tear rolled down Hisaki's cheeks. Gradually, the beautiful and heartwarming image in front of her was blurred by her tears.
