Whilst Wang Huozhen fretted over the possible implications of what had transpired today, Wang Rouxi on the other hand took a leisurely stroll back to the entrance of the mansion.

Her eyes roamed around the hallways, examining the large portraits that decorated every wall. They were the portraits of the members of the Wang Family.

Wang Rouxi could tell their identities based on the intelligence reports that she had gathered.

A portrait of a good looking man drew her attention. This man bore a striking resemblance to Wang Huozhen, the only difference was that there was a kind-hearted smile on his face, which gave off a warm feeling to anyone who had seen it.

But that's not what piqued Wang Rouxi's interest. It was his eyes that showed great wisdom which could only be acquired if one strived through the adversities and the vicissitudes of life.

A man of great wisdom, the late honorable Wang Guqi!

Bowing her head towards the portrait, Wang Rouxi paid her respect to his late grandfather.

Although she had not met him before, his philanthropic acts rang far and wide. She only had utmost respect for this old man.

Afterwhich, Wang Rouxi headed down the stairs and directly went out of the door of the mansion without looking back.

Right outside the mansion, she saw Lu Yizhi pacing back and forth in front of their car, seemingly not noticing her approaching.

"What are you doing?" Wang Rouxi asked, her eyebrow raised as she walked towards him.

The frantic Lu Yizhi yelped in surprise and was about to say something when he took notice of the glaring red marks on Wang Rouxi's face.

"Oh my goddess! What happened to your beautiful face?" In his eyes, Wang Rouxi looked like his goddess Wang Xinji so he unconsciously blurted that out.

Wang Rouxi fixed him with an icy stare.

Lu Yizhi felt a chill run down his spine and he hurriedly corrected himself, "Ah, Leader Xi! Leader Xi, what happened to you?"

But what he only got in response was her silence.

Coughing lightly to ease the atmosphere, Lu Yizhi remembered the matter he wanted to say to her and he clapped his hands. "Ah, Leader! Lenglian called earlier to say that CEO Xia is looking for you, and uhm... he also wants you to buy him your, uhm, your wife's favorite flower?"

That last sentence came out as a question.

Lu Yizhi couldn't comprehend it the first time he heard it from Lu Lenglian so he was quite unsure how he should phrase it to Wang Rouxi.

When did their leader get herself a wife?

And she's a woman too, alright!

Wang Rouxi's mind went blank for a second there. She didn't expect Xia Jiannan to ask for such a thing.

Nonetheless...

"Let's go." Wang Rouxi said as she got inside the car, catching Lu Yizhi off guard. "I need to go buy flowers for my wife."

Holding a bouquet of blue roses in her left hand, Wang Rouxi stepped foot inside the magnificent building of the Xia Corporation with confident strides.

All the women at the lobby could not help but sneak a few glances her way while wondering to themselves who this beautiful man was.

Wearing a well-tailored blue suit over a light blue shirt and a pair of dark brown shoes, coupled with Wang Rouxi's perfect disguise, she looked very much like a wealthy business man out to get his girlfriend.

"Who's that?"

"What a handsome guy!"

"Who do you think he came here for?"

The place quieted down as the people started speaking in hushed whispers, trying to find out more about the man's identity.

Wang Rouxi paid these people no mind as she stopped in front of the reception desk. "I would like to ask if Mr. Xia is available right now."

The receptionist was a lady in her mid-twenties and although she was quite a beauty herself, she still could not compare to Wang Rouxi, whether it be her real identity or as Lu Xi.

"U-um... S-sir, uhm, may I k-know who you a-are?" The receptionist went beet red, finding it hard to calm herself down.

The man in front of her was just too handsome that words were not enough to describe him!

But he could not still rival her boss!

With that thought, the receptionist tried to calm her rapidly beating heart and opted to reiterate her question, "Ahem... Sir, may I know who you are so I can coordinate to Mr. Xia's secretary?"

"Di Yi."

The receptionist waited for a few seconds more but Wang Rouxi did not say anything else so she could only speculate about this person's identity.

"Alright, Mr. Di! Let me ask on your behalf. Please wait as I coordinate to the higher-ups."

Despite not knowing her status or identity, the receptionist did not show any disrespect which earned a good impression from Wang Rouxi.

While waiting for the receptionist, Wang Rouxi silently observe everything around her.

Xia Corporation was surely on the rise. With the help of Wang Empire Estates, they could grow more and more. Their future would be boundless.

"Mr. Di, the meeting has just ended. Would you like me to ask someone to escort you to the CEO's office?" The receptionist smiled at Wang Rouxi while secretly heaving a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, I did not antagonize this man!

Wang Rouxi glanced at the nervous lady and could already guess what she was thinking, "No need. Thank you."

After she said that, Wang Rouxi took the elevator to go to the top floor where Xia Jiannan's office was situated.

The people at the lobby immediately swarmed towards the reception desk after Wang Rouxi got inside the elevator.

"Xiao Yao, who was that handsome man?"

"You're such a lucky girl, Xiao Yao!"

"Tell us! Tell us who he is!"

"Is he the boss's new business partner?"

The receptionist named Xiao Yao was bombarded with her co-workers' inquiry about Wang Rouxi's identity that she didn't know whom to face first.

"Everyone, please calm down." Xiao Yao tried to appease the crowd. "If we get caught gossiping here, we'll surely be sanctioned by the supervisor!"

Hearing this, the crowd quieted down. Xiao Yao nodded in satisfaction.

"I'll cut it short. Don't provoke that man, by all means, don't. I'm not really sure how he is related to the boss, but I could tell even Secretary Cheng has to be wary of him."

Gasps of surprise rang out in the crowd. Xiao Yao's words made them all the more curious about the identity of that handsome man. But of course, they would not actually dare antagonize him.

After finding out that the man's name was Di Yi, the crowd dispersed as all of them made a mental note not to provoke this man.
