1 Prologue

A 37-year-old man, called Emmanuel Gompel sitting on the edge of the two-story building. Drinking his sorrows away, he recalled his miserable life.

When Emmanuel was young, he had dreamed of playing football professionally. Unfortunately, a week before going to a football trial, he got into a car accident and tore the anterior cruciate ligament. Emmanuel gave up on believing in dreams and became a cold-hearted businessman. The woman he loved cheated on him with his secretary, who stole his place in the company and fired him.

Now he wants to give up on life, always wondering every day how life would be like if he had not been injured. Tears started to develop in his eyes after recalling the painful memories.

The only wish he wanted was to go back in time and fulfil his dream. "I swear it to you and the heavens if you give me a chance. I will not misuse it."

A cracking sound came from underneath, the ledge he was sitting on started to collapse. His body began to fall like he was a meteor, his hair flapping through the wind.

Everything went dark as if someone turned off the tv screen.
