13 The Harpies' Nest [part3]

Seeing her point her finger at me, I swallow nervously and begin moving backward.

"Now!" Lena suddenly bellows, charging ahead as she unsheathes her katana with fierce resolution. The way she unsheathes her Katana gives off an air of pure anger towards the Harpie queen.

Upon hearing Lena's order, everyone also grabs their weapons and charges at the harpies, leaping into the air, except me, who has no idea how to leap like them. So I simply watch in awe as Lena, with her petite figure, exhibits agility, skillfully dodging arrows shot by the Harpies.

"Levitation!" Lena mutters again. This time a powerful burst of wind appears under her feet, propelling her into the air towards the Harpy queen. Getting closer to the Harpy queen, who doesn't seem to care about her, Lena strikes her with her sword.

CHA-CHING!!!

A very loud sound erupts from the sword as the harpie queen blocks the attack with her talons. Observing her closely, there seems to be a grin on the Harpie queen's lips as she effortlessly blocks Lena's attack. Despite the queen's seemingly amused grin, Lena persists, delivering a forceful kick to catch her off-guard. The kick connects, pushing the queen back. Seizing this opportunity, Lena retreats, tightening her grip on her sword.

SKREEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Annoyed, the Harpie queen lets out a loud cry, charging at Lena at a very rapid speed. Subsequently, the two start moving at a speed that my eyes can barely follow. However, what I discern from their fight is that they seem to be using wind-based magic. That means they have the same magic specialization.

BAM!

"Kyaa!"

Hearing a strange cry beside me, I look down and find that a Harpie has fallen to the ground beside me, her finely woven skirt raised and revealing a pink panty. While I am gawking at the Harpie, she also notices me, making her get to her feet immediately. Contrary to my thoughts, she moves back, running towards Nando who flung her away earlier.

{Aaargh!! Your fucking ugly face sent her off. Well, seems like th–}

I disregard Darkus's words and dash towards another Harpie entangled in combat with Sue, without giving any sign of my intention. However, as I approach, the Harpie recoils, beating its wings violently. This particular one seems to be putting up a fierce fight against Sue, even though none of us are fully engaged in the battle by refraining from using weapons or magic on the harpies.

Confusion clouds my mind. "What's happening?" I voice out my thoughts as Sue strides toward me.

"The Harpie Queen has an interest in you for some reason, commanding the others not to touch you. That's why they're avoiding you. You don't need to resist the queen taking you. Dealing with these harpies would be a breeze if we fought seriously," Sue explains, concern etched on her face.

"But the Harpie Queen is formidable... and Lena isn't sticking to the plan she proposed," Sue mutters, observing Lena and the Harpie Queen engaged in an intense battle.

Fixing my gaze on the fierce clash between Lena and the Harpie Queen, it becomes evident that Lena is losing ground. The Harpie Queen propels her backward with wind slashes by swiping the air with razor-sharp claws in rapid succession.

"Wind Bomb!" The Harpie Queen declares, her mouth widening as a small white sphere emerges.

"Damn it!" Sue curses loudly, seizing me by the nape of my neck. Before I can comprehend the situation, Sue leaps into the air, joined by the rest of our team.

BOOOOM!

A powerful explosion reverberates behind us, the force of it disrupting my body. The pressure from the blast sends shivers through me as we soar through the air, escaping the devastating aftermath.

Landing on the ground, me and Sue roll violently across the field. While rolling on the field, I feel something soft pressing against my chest.

This... This is her breast! I muse inwardly, feeling her perky soft bags of meat pressing against my chest.

Suddenly, Sue digs her fingers into the ground, stopping our momentum, and violently pushes me away from the top of her.

"Ugh! You should be gentler next time," I say with a groan as I try to get up while dusting the sand on my body at the same time.

Sue, on the other hand as if she knows something is wrong looks at me intensely.

"What?" I ask.

"Tch." Sue clicks her tongue in disgust, as veins pop out on her forehead.

The way she's staring at me right now feels like she's about to lunge at me and rip me to pieces.

"Sue, get a hold of yourself!" A familiar voice suddenly says. Looking up, I see Ban, Nando and Gustavo walking towards us.

"B-Ban~" Sue mutters, her face slightly flushed upon hearing his voice. Instantly, her personality takes a 360 degree.

This bitch... She has a crush on Ban. Fuck, why does luck never seem to be on my side, why? Why? Why me?

I also thought the team leader had a thing for me, but it turned out that she only saw my potential as a teammate.

For some reason, I feel a sharp pain in my heart, and at this moment, something clicks inside of me. I can feel something foreign inside me adapting with every fiber of my being. Instinctively, a slight grin appears on my face.

I get it now...

"The team leader..." Gustavo mutters, catching our attention as he points at the aftermath of the wreckage that was caused by the attack of the Harpie queen.

Some of the huts have been crushed to nothing but dust, and several craters on the ground are littered across the area. Scanning my eyes around the space, I spot Lena levitating in the air, her body covered by a very thick layer of white aura, looking unharmed.

The Harpie queen, on the other hand, is also standing several meters away from her, anger clouding her countenance.

"Hoooman, stay off," The Harpie queen utters, pointing her finger at Lena in frustration.

"You are free to do whatever you want, I admit defeat," Lena replies, sheathing her sword.

Without even batting an eye, the Harpie queen appears in front of me in a flash, causing my other teammates to leap away instinctively.

Before I can even react, the sharp talons of the Harpie queen lock onto my lightweight armor, carrying me off the ground. Simultaneously, I notice that the lackeys of the Harpie Queen also lock their talons on my other teammates, except Sue and Lena, taking us in the same direction at a remarkable speed.

Meanwhile, the harpies are all repeating one thing...

"Mate."

"Mate."

"Mate."
