The Eve before

It was a bright and sunny morning as Dexter and Naisargi made their way to Yashi's home.

"Good morning, Yashi," Dexter greeted as he entered her home. "Good morning, Dexter. And good morning, Naisargi," Yashi replied with a smile.

"So, what have you thought about the changes?" Dexter asked, taking a seat at the dining table.

"Let me show you," Yashi said, as she flipped through the pages of her sketchbook. Dexter leaned in closer, impressed by the designs and details on each page. "Wow, these are really good," he said, pointing to a particularly striking sketch.

Naisargi, who had been quietly observing from the side, chipped in, "I think we should definitely use this one, it's unique and different from what's already out there." Yashi smiled, "I'm glad you like it. I've been working on it for a while now."

Yashi and Dexter then spent the next hour discussing the details of the design, going back and forth with suggestions and ideas. Dexter had a few suggestions for the cuts and patterns, and Yashi put forward her ideas for the colors and fabrics. She jotting down notes and making changes to her sketches as he spoke.

In the meantime, Naisargi made coffee and snacks for everyone. She walked into the kitchen, taking out the coffee beans, cups and saucers, and a tray to serve them on. She took out a plate of cookies from the pantry and arranged them nicely on a separate plate. She carried the tray of coffee and cookies to the dining table.

"Here you go, something to keep your energy levels up while you work," Naisargi said, placing the tray on the table.

Yashi and Dexter thanked her, and they all took a break to enjoy the tea and snacks.

Naisargi was happy to be able to contribute in her own way, even if it wasn't directly related to the design work.

The conversation continued for a while longer, with them going back and forth until they finally settled on a few designs that they all agreed on. As they wrapped up their meeting, they felt a sense of excitement and relief. They gathered their things and headed out to the studio. Yashi took her own car while Dexter and Naisargi got into Dexter's car.

They arrived at the building where YB 7 was located, got out of the car and headed towards the elevator. As they were about to press the button for their floor, they noticed Cailey, one of their colleagues, standing nearby. She was on the phone and seemed to be deep in conversation. She smiled and hung up the phone as she noticed them approaching.

"Hey guys!" Cailey greeted them cheerfully. "How's it going?"

"Good, good," Dexter replied. "It looks like someone's got a spring in their step today," Dexter teased, winking at Cailey.

"Oh, shut up," Cailey laughed, "It's just a friend, nothing interesting."

Naisargi added, "I think it's great that you have a friend, Cailey. We should all be so lucky to have someone to talk to."

"Yeah, you're right, Naisargi. You had a great call yesterday," Dexter said, smiling at her.

"Not again, Dexter," Naisargi said, clearly agaitated by Dexter.

The elevator doors closed, and they all took the ride up to the studio in silence. As they approached the studio, Cailey said "I'm going to go make some coffee, anyone want some?"

"Sure," Dexter replied, "I'll take a cup. Naisargi, Yashi?"

"I'm good, thank you," Naisargi replied.

"I'll pass," Yashi said.

The three of them made their way to their own workstations and got to work while Cailey went to the pantry to make some coffee.

Yashi settled down at her desk and immediately began to work on her designs. Dexter sat down at his computer and started to work on the technical aspects of the designs. Naisargi, who wasn't a designer, helped out where she could, such as making copies of the designs and keeping the work area organized.

They took a break for lunch and then returned to their work. The hours flew by as they worked, the only sounds in the studio were the scratching of pencils on paper, the clicking of computer keys, and the occasional sip of coffee or tea. It was time to pack up and head home.

"Hey, why don't we all go grab dinner together?" Dexter suggested. "We can talk more freely about who will be sewing the designs as we can't give it to Macy. We don't want anyone finding out about the leaked designs."

They all went to their usual restaurant. Giovanni went for a business trip that day. The three of them ordered their usual. As they sat down to eat, they discussed about who would be responsible for sewing the designs. They also discussed the possibility of hiring new seamstresses to work on the designs, so that they could keep the designs a secret.

"I might know someone who could help us out," Dexter said, taking a sip of his drink. "She's a seamstress, and she lives in another city. She has a team working under her. We could bring them in, give them a place to stay, and they could work on the designs for us. That way, we could keep them under wraps and not have to worry about anyone else finding out."

Yashi nodded thoughtfully. "That's a good idea, Dexter."

Naisargi chimed in, "Yeah, that sounds like a great plan."

Dexter nodded, "I'll reach out to her and see if she's interested in helping us out."

Dexter pulled out his phone and made a call to the seamstress he knew from another city. He explained the situation and the need for secrecy and the seamstress agreed to come and help them out. After hanging up, Dexter informed Yashi and Naisargi that the seamstress will be arriving the next day and they could start working on the designs right away.

Yashi and Naisargi were relieved to hear this and thanked Dexter for his help. Dexter offered to pick up the seamstress from the airport the next day and Yashi and Naisargi arranged an apartment for them.

They got to work immediately, with Yashi and Dexter showing the seamstress the designs and Yashi handing over the measurements of the models that she got from Macy the other day. Naisargi handed over the fabrics she bought with Yashi that morning.

They worked tirelessly throughout the week, making sure that every detail was perfect. An evening before, the clothes were ready and they all breathed a sigh of relief. They couldn't wait to see them on the runway the next day.
