Naisargi discovers

The trio left the restaurant, Yashi suggested that they all get some rest and meet early the next morning at her home to discuss the changes that needed to be made.

Dexter offered Naisargi a ride home, knowing that it was already late and her sister would have already reached home and knew taking a taxi at this hour would be troublesome. Naisargi gratefully accepted his offer and the three parted ways for the night, each lost in their own thoughts about the events of the day.

Naisargi asked Dexter about the designer who had replaced Yashi at E-phen while they made their way to her home. "So, tell me about this designer who took Yashi's place," she said, curiosity evident in her voice. Dexter replied, "Her name is Warta. She and Yashi were classmates in college. From what I have heard when I entered the college, I learned that they were not friends but on good terms with each other and often discussing ideas with each other."

He went on to explain that there was a boy in their class named Ivan, who Warta had a crush on. However, Ivan had a crush on Yashi, but she wasn't interested in him romantically. She always saw him as a friend and they continued to remain as friends thereafter. Warta always believed that Yashi should not be even friends with Ivan and since then, she held a grudge against Yashi.

"She always thought that Yashi was flaunting and showing off," Dexter added. "I don't know she hates her so much that she tries to tear YB 7 down out of spite." Naisargi listened intently, clearly surprised and shocked by this revelation. "I had no idea. You know Yashi is a private person and doesn't like to share much," she said, "I guess you never really know what people are capable of."

Naisargi asked, "So where is Ivan now?". Dexter replied, "Ivan went abroad after college and I haven't seen him since then. But I heard in the recent reunion of our batch that he is planning to come back and rumors say that he plans to collaborate with designers here."

Naisargi looked surprised and asked, "Really? Do you think Yashi would be interested in working with him if he wishes to collaborate with YB 7?" Dexter shrugged, "I'm not sure, but they were good friends in college and I think it's possible. But we'll have to wait and see what happens."

"I bet you're not too happy about that, are you Dexter?" Naisargi said with a smirk.

Dexter, feeling a little flustered, "Please Naisargi, don't start with that. I respect Yashi, she's a brilliant designer and a great friend. That's all there is to it."

Naisargi laughed, "Yeah, sure, keep telling yourself that. But I know the truth, you're head over heels for her."

"You're mistaken, I'm just a friend," he said, feeling doubtful of his own words. As they pulled up to Naisargi's home, she gathered her things and said her goodbyes. "I'll see you tomorrow," she said with a knowing grin, leaving Dexter to ponder over his own feelings deeply as he drove home.

Yashi drove home thinking about Warta. She knew Warta had always held a bit of resentment towards her for reasons she couldn't quite understand. Also, Ivan had reached out to her via message the week before that he will be coming to the country the next month. She wondered if the two events were connected in some way. She thought over the situation deeply, trying to piece together the puzzle in her mind, but the more she thought about it, the more confusing it became. Yashi decided to put the thoughts aside for the time being and focus on finding a solution for the current problem at hand.

Dexter scrolled through his phone after taking a hot shower on reaching his home when he saw a message from his junior, Hailey whom he met in the evening.

"Hey, just wanted to check if you're okay," it read.

He replied with a simple "Yes, I'm fine. Everything okay with you?"

Moments later, his phone rang and it was Hailey calling. Dexter answered, "Hey Hailey, what's up?"

Hailey hesitated for a moment before speaking, "I just wanted to check if you were okay. I know you've been going through a tough time with the whole YB 7 situation."

Dexter reassured her that everything was fine and thanked her again for the help and concern. They hung up after a small talk.

Dexter felt it was strange for her to call but he was too tired to give much thought as he had to get up early the next day.

Naisargi laid in bed after a bath. Her mind was racing with thoughts of the events of the day. She thought about the different relationships and dynamics between the people involved. She thought about Warta, who had always held a grudge against Yashi, and wondered if her actions had anything to do with the fact that Ivan, whom Warta had a crush on, had once liked Yashi is returning from abroad. Naisargi also couldn't help but think about Dexter and his feelings for Yashi. She knew that he would not be very happy if Ivan decides to collaborate with YB 7. And then there was the fact that Warta was already planning to ruin YB 7's reputation. Naisargi shook her head, thinking to herself "Too complex". She knew that it would complicate further when Ivan comes and wondered how difficult it would be for Yashi to navigate this complicated web of relationships and resentments.
