Day of the Dance Part Two

"About ready to go! Let's go babe" Hyerin said dragging Dae Hyun away from me as I grew closer to the end of the stairs. Mateo walks up to me as I take in his figure. He was wearing a striking black tuxedo that fit him perfectly. His hair was per usual, messy but masterful. He had a cream-colored boutonniere and when he grabbed my hand and placed a matching corsage on my wrist, my face flushed deeply. I smiled at him as he tucked my hair behind my ear, winking at me. May and the girls began to make catcalling and jeering sounds at Mateo's actions which made us both go a shade of red we didn't know possible. 

"You clean up nice young sir," I say, punching his shoulder playfully.

"You look amazing Haru..." He says almost breathlessly. I turn away at the sound of my name. May is telling us to hurry because the limo had arrived.

I blushed at his compliment. He offered me to hold his elbow and I took it gratefully.
