The Phenex's naturally didn't want me to leave this early but I had things to do.
They most likely want to talk more about my plans in Japan and if they somehow could insert Ravel in but my self adopted nee-san had other plans.
It worked out for me. After all, I know Uriel is going to visit my home, I rather not keep my brother in law waiting.
So I was grateful for Grayfia's arrival despite her less than cool behavior... Before we could reach the entrance of the Castle(Because teleporting out is just bad manners), we got interrupted by a blurry figure rushing towards me.
Well, I can clearly see that it's Grayfia, she has a cute worried expression on her face. Why is she worried? She should know I am strong enough.
"Merlin, are you okay? Are you hurt? Did anyone manage to hit you? I was so worried after Sirzechs said you went towards the city!" Okay, she might be overprotective.
She doesn't know her brother, Euclid is still alive and kicking she thinks her brother is dead... Since she came to see me as a brother figure as well... Yeah I can see her freaking out.
She eventually hugs me to her bosom uncaring about what others in the room would think. Her hand goes to my head caressing it slowly. Much to say I was surprised enough to let her do all of that.
"Nee-san! I am fine." I might as well cash in on her behavior.
Also, it is actually a nice feeling to have an elder sibling again. I don't miss my family much due to reasons... but still, being loved is always nice.
While I was focusing on the family love aspect of things Grayfia's hand speeds up enough to have smoke come out of my head.
"Also what this is about impregnating a Seraph!?" She finally exploded. "Do you think I will let that slide without a lecture? You will join Millicas on his lessons about how to behave." Ouch!
"Angelica bring the burn cream!" If anyone is going to make fun of me, that will be me!
It took Grayfia a minute to realize where are we, instead of composing herself she turned more fierce and got the Phenex Family talking. I was standing behind her with a kid(baby?) Neji expression on my face totally dumbfounded by her change.
Seeing Ravel standing close to me while holding my shirt made Grayfia click her tongue and she give up for now and stop roasting the whole family of birds with ice.
I have a feeling she was planning on sacrificing me to Rias to make me her official little brother. To be honest I dodged a bullet there...
I was hoping Issei would take her, freeing me the burden but Issei is no more in this world. I mean don't get me wrong, I don't have much hate for Rias despite her shortcomings, she would be a wonderful waifu if you're going for a single partner.
But Rias has the potential of becoming a bonafide Yandere. So, I won't dare to get her even if Harem Protagonist ensures that the harem will be more likely to get along.
So, I said my goodbyes to Phenex's while Angelica brought Grayfia back to room temperature.
Once everyone was ready we went back to my house, Grayfia included for some reason.
"I want to see my niece, Tiamat texted me." Ehh, they chat?
I guess I shouldn't be surprised that my girls having their own life...
..
"It's an egg." Grayfia states blankly but her voice reeks disappointment.
"She's at least half-dragon, of course, she is going to start as an egg." Tiamat looks at Grayfia weirdly.
"But you said she is too cute and how she loves to cuddle, I thought you two kept her hidden all this time and she was already born." Silver-haired maid explains.
It appears there has been a misunderstanding between the dragon and the devil.
"Yes, look how the egg vibrates when I hug her." Tiamat hugs the egg, we can observe the said vibration and for a second egg looked to be blushing. "See, she's so cute!"
"I see... Then what about the futons here, don't you guys have rooms?" She looks around the basement. She came here to check my living conditions, didn't she?
"Well, since it was proven that little Kanna is somehow able to understand us I figured we can sleep next to her." I explain while ignoring the slowly blushing egg. "We all have things to do during the day, I figured we can at least spend the night with her."
Yes, I named her Kanna already in honor of the readers, let's hope she will live up to her name and don't be a picky eater.
"That's really considered of you Merlin, it is nice to see you growing up." She reached to my hair once again. "Although I had my doubts about you becoming a father at this age you seem to be doing okay so far."
She's not even out of the egg yet! Don't come to conclusions yet...
"Well, Angelica made some tea, why not join us if you have time nee-san?" I send a grateful nod to my maid.
"Well, why not?" We seat ourselves at the table.
Due to the same logic, we put a replica of the living room in the basement. I honestly can't leave my daughter and Ophis here all by themselves.
Ophis has her games but learning that my daughter being cognizant was a major blow to my heart and I can't leave her alone while at home.
I naturally checked if she's a reincarnated person or something like that but the tests were negative to my relief.
Remember, always check for reincarnators! (AN: The only reincarnate in this novel is Merlin FYI)
We sat down drank some tea, then I had to stop Grayfia from freezing Vali once she learned her surname.
Unlike Euclid, Grayfia has no natural submissive tendencies towards Lucifers. It wasn't hard for me to break the ice between them over tea, I mean literal ice between them that Grayfia created.
After some more talks and Vali willingly talking about her horrible experience growing up at House of Lucifer allowed the two to bond.
It also helped that I was dating Vali and somehow Grayfia trusts my character judgment despite my track record.
The residents of the house mingled together until late, currently, they are huddled up next to Kanna, sleeping.
This left me alone with nee-san.
"So ototo-kun, what are your plans for Japan?" Grayfia asks after we drank a couple of pots of tea.
"I have a big thing planned, Japan is the best place to test it out. But don't worry nee-san at worst it will result in a second Tartarus." I comfort Grayfia.
Grayfia's brows twitch hearing me, Tartarus here is actually a failed experiment done by the God sharing the same name.
Greek gods of DxD are weird, they're not rapists like the original thankfully or even if they were it is more subdued here for some reason.
The best way to describe them is they're fickle, one moment they're affectionate and caring the next they fall to madness.
In one of his affectionate streaks, Tartarus figured he could cleanse the world of this malice by sealing it in his Abyss.
Unfortunately, it backfired resulting in him turning into a mass of black tentacles with eyes all over it, and he also went mad.
Then again I have no intentions of doing something like that, even though I can do it without problems, my reactor would accept any type of energy after all.
"Are you out of your mind!?" As expected she freaked out.
We argued for some hours, before long it became morning, at this point I was getting tired of trying to convince her. In hopes her make her believe me I made a group of goblins, she killed them right away out of anger.
"See, I just need to automate this in a separate dimension and make it an open challenge to draw in the battle maniacs" I explain my ultimate plan.
"Merlin... Why did I get stronger?" Grayfia asks looking at her hands.
She is ultimate class maybe even satan class it is natural that she has a good sense of power especially her own.
"It is an unexpected side effect, I left it since it will motivate people to fight more. I am using Japan since they're the one's going to benefit more from this."
"Merlin, have I ever told you about my sister in law? She's such a cute girl, I am sure you two would get along." Oh God, I need help!
Just when Grayfia was going to start bombarding me with good things about her sister in law a teleportation circle opens up in the room.
My security system is tied to my Clairvoyance, this makes it so that annoyances like Hero Faction can't get in. It also makes the security rock solid because my Clairvoyance is OP and can't be fooled by anyone I know from this universe. There is secondary security as well just in case, going down because I became arrogant would be sad.
"Merlin Ambrosius! My name is Uriel!" Heaven heard my prayer and sent an angry seraph to my house, perfect!
