1 First Day — Cherry Blossom University

It was the first of school, apparently.

Dean woke up by the sound of bird chirping around outside his house

Getting up to take a shower and get ready for the first day of school, he just hopes that his friends who said that they'll be their, kept their promise, cause nowadays they keep breaking their promises, like, why?

As He walk himself to his School, he suddenly get a call,

His Friend Jane.

J : Dean?

D : yeah?

J : do you have any extra pen or some?

D : yep, I have an extra, because I know that you are lazy to get one yourself, so I bought an extra one, why did you ca anyways?

J : I heard that there's a new transferee in our class, and also a late one. If you know what I mean.

D : Really? What's the name?

J : I don't know, I just heard the news from somewhere, well anyways, I gotta go, bye.

Dean heard the call ended, suddenly looking at his phone before putting it back in his pocket,

New Student? Sounds good.

After a good 17 minutes of walking, he finally arrived at the University gate, looking at the Huge school Building in front of him, nothing new to him, but to others, there is.

He greeted the guard, who he knew since 6th grade,

Now that he is on his 10th grade, he barely wants to have a new students or teacher in this University, because all of the teachers he knew were still here, so he didn't want or expect any new teachers.

"Oh, you are early Dean." He heard, looking where it came from, seeing his teacher.

Mr. Won, his Math Teacher.

"Yep, first day of School, so I need to be early, Mr. Won, is it true that there is a new transferee in our class?" Dean ask

"Yep. A male. He is 17, and he entered school late in his childhood. You'll find out what he looks like when class starts. Go ahead and check your attendance." Mr. Won said, smiling at Dean,

Dean bowed before going to his class room. 2nd floor, B-6. When he entered the room, he saw a plenty of students inside, like 15 to 18 students.

'it seems like we have more students this time. I think some of them advances. I saw familiar faces.'

"Dean!" someone shouted from behind him, as he write his attendance.

He look behind to see Jane and the others

"why are you shouting, it's not like I am 1 mile away from you guys." Dean said, shaking his head

"sorry! It's just we missed you!"

The statement made Dean frown,

"It's not like we didn't see each other last week?" He said, looking at his friends

As he said that, Jane laugh,

"Oh? Yeah yeah, I forgot." she said, dragging Dean to where his friends seat location, it was near back, but more like middle row.

He take a sit beside his friend, Tyler.

"so, You said that there's a transferee, but I never believe you so I personally ask Mr. Won, and he said there is. I wonder what he looks like." Dean said

His friends agreeing at what he just said

After a moment, there class adviser came in, Mr. Won.

"OK, class, settle down, we have a new student. Please quiet down if you want me to let him introduce himself, will you?"

After that statement, all of the students in the room quiet down and sit on their own seat.

"OK. So can you come in?" Mr. Won said at the student outside the door

As the transferee came in, all of the girls started whispering to each other, while Dean just stared at the transferee

"Introduce yourself." Mr. Won said to the male standing beside him

"uh... I am.. Jay Kim, 17 years old, I just came home from Korea." the transferee introduced himself, he look at the teacher,

"OK, Jay, sit beside Dean. Please raise your hand Dean." Mr. Won said

Meanwhile, Dean was in a state of shock, but he raised his hand as he was ordered to. Jay? That Jay from his childhood? No way! Dean can't believe what he just saw and heard.

He put his hands down as 'Jay' finally sat beside him,

He can't focus today if this 'Jay' is beside him, but he'll try his best to focus.

"So, for the Advanced, and new students here. I am Mr. Won George Lim, some of you know me, so just call me Mr. Won, and I am handling your Math Subject, and I am your second subject. Which confuses me why I am here first, but the school principal said that its best if the adviser is the first before all the subject teachers." Mr. Won explained and introduced himself

"and, we'll start to introduce ourselves today, one is already done, so the rest please come up when it's your turn."

All after those introductions,and class counsellor thingy ended, finally it was time for them to go home, as the University promised, after day 1, Go home, day 2 will be the official start of class.

As Dean was accompanied by his friends on his way home, he saw Jay on a car, must be on his way home too.

As he finally has his stop, he bid goodbye to his friends, and enters his house, he lives alone after his parents give him this house, and he gets allowance from them too,

As he lock the door behind him, he immediately went to the kitchen, drinking water, as he was exhausted from all the walking on his way home

He walk to his room, placing his bag beside his study table, which is in the corner of his room, changing into a more comfy clothes, and went back to the kitchen to cook some food for himself,

Making fried rice and fried egg, also making coffee to wake himself up a bit.

As he finished cooking and making coffee, he put them on a tray and go to his room, placing them on another table beside his study table, it was for food, if he ever wants to eat while studying, he can place food there and eat.

But he isn't studying now, he'll study later at night, as he always does,

But as he eat, he remembers Jay. Today was quiet confusing for him, New Transferee, which is Jay, when did he came back?

"you really are something Jay. Are you the same Jay I know? I guess not." He mumbled and continue eating his food

Looking at his window to see the sun near to set.

He sighed, thinking about the happenings today, he just can't believe that his childhood friend is finally back from Korea.

Those 10 years with him, makes him wonder, why did Jay left without a word, even from his parents, they got no news about them leaving, but one day, the house beside them, suddenly became empty.

The thought make Dean frown, but continue eating, as he did so.

He opened his phone, checking on his SNS, as he did, he received so many notifications from his friends, it was from Yesterday, But he didn't go on his phone the whole day yesterday?

He check every single notifications from them, seeing that it was just about the transferee which is Jay.

He ignored the rest as he know that it was the same topic from the others.

As He finished eating, he put the dishes on the sink, washing them later, and goes back to his room to take a rest, but the thought of Jay, still didn't leave his mind.

He'll see what will happen tomorrow.
