A Poem For You: Intro

My dearest whomever,

I can only find happiness when I know you read this words,

Words I've written at your behest

So you can find comfort when I'm away-

Feel me through the pages like

A hand reaching to your soul

Providing love in proxy through stars

From miles unknown.

And I wish to tell you about my journeys

And wishes I made for the both of us,

Your longing

Keeps my soul burning like firewood

Lit at midnight

I wish to see you now more than ever,

I still hope you think of me as much as I do you,

For I hope in time we'll be together

Like waves colliding with the shore.
