(AN) Hello, this is my first time writing a story so I might suck at stuff like explanations. I’m already lamenting this synopsis and how bad it is. So if you have found any bad stuff about it tell me about it. Also, give me constructive criticism, not some random crap. Thanks for reading the synopsis at least if the story intrigued you, add it to your library. I don't have a schedule of when I'll update so I'll update when I feel like it.

Wake up

Go to work

Sleep

I repeat this cycle ever since I recently graduated college and am employed with a job that pays enough to pay for my life and my hobbies. After that though, the cycle repeats I don't have anything to live for. I have no wife, no kids, no family. I live a lonely life.

As I'm bored out of my mind at work, one of my coworkers comes up to me.

"Hey Jin, you want to come over to my place and drink some can of beer and play some games." He places his hands on my shoulder while grinning.

"Come on, it'll only be for a bit."

This coworker and I bonded after he caught me playing some game at work that he also enjoyed. After catching this he has been trying to beat me at the game for so long that it's getting boring.

"Sure, but a dollar each time I beat you." I give him a small grin.

Seeing him acknowledge my bet we both go back to work before our boss gets mad at us.

-3rd POV-

After a bit, Jin needs to go to the restroom. While opening the stalls, he slips on the ground hits his head on the sink, and blacks out.

Jin wakes up to see the blue sky. "Dang. Looks like it's not one of those cliches where I wake up in the hospital and find myself in a different world."

Jin sits up and looks around. "It's a different cliche where I get knocked out and wake up in a place."

*rustle* *rustle*

Jin quickly gets up and sees a mix between an otter and a penguin staring at him. Jin hasn't ever seen this animal before, he faintly remembers seeing it somewhere but not in the real world.

'Where have I seen this animal, I faintly remember it from a show I've watched. This alludes to the fact that I'm in a different world or I found a new species." He looks around only seeing the white snow and nothing else except this dang penguin.

"It might be something I watched on TV." When he says this he suddenly realizes it.

"I'm in a different world. And not just any world, I'm in the Avatar and not the bad one."

"So I woke up in another world then." Slowly a grin starts to grow on Jin's face. "This might be fun."

Ignoring the penguin, he starts to look around for any signs of civilization. Being in a place full of snow would be terrible for him and would probably lead to his death.

"How would I look for civilization though? I don't have anything on me though. I can either start wandering off somewhere, which could be risky because I might start to walk away from civilization." Jin looks around for anything that can help him make a fire.

His surroundings are all white except for a little ice lake nearby.

"Ways to make fire. The only ones I know are using a bow and a stick to make fire but there aren't any sticks around here. A magnifying glass to catch something on fire is also another method but I don't have one on me."

Jin looks around for anything he could use and finally has an idea. He walks up to the ice lake takes off his steal toe boots and breaks off the ice. He carves the ice into a rudimentary lens. Ripping out a piece of his clothing, he protects it from the snow and manages to catch it on fire using the ice lens.

(AN) I know this might seem a bit iffy but this is a story.

Once the fire is big enough he starts to put in some pieces of snow so more smoke could come out or at least steam.

"That's a pretty big smoke pillar if I do say so myself." Looking at his proud creation he sits down taking care of the fire.

After a long wait, he hears some dogs barking and the snow crunching. He looks everywhere for the source of the noise and sees a man in a blue cover to protect him from the cold. The man had brown hair with a tie on the back of his head with some loose hair going to his neck. The man looked like he was in his twenties.

"You need any help" The man asked after seeing a homeless-looking man in the middle of nowhere.

Jin looked at him and instantly recognized him as the father of one of the main groups of the Avatar.

"Please, I'm kinda stuck here." Jin gives him a relieved look.

The first chapter is over with about 750 words to it excluding the author's notes. This is my first ever chapter so if there is anything wrong you could tell me and I'll probably change it if I feel like it.

Anyway, thanks for reading so far. If you have any questions ask in the comments or something.
