Flow of time

When Dheer signed the "one-year marriage contract" he didn't know that it would be the regret of his life...If he had known he would have made it a lifetime contract. But a dream stopped him from making more mistakes. Dreams are now guiding him to make the right decisions. Will he be able to change the flow of time with the help of those dreams? "Stop staring Dheer. You're gonna bore a hole on her face" Elisa growled. "I can't... She's looking too beautiful today and attracting all that unwanted attention from unwanted people" Dheer frowned. "It's her friend Dheer, and they are just having a chat there" "How can she smile that way towards other men. It's unacceptable. She's never shown that smile towards me except for those in my dreams" Dheer grumbled. "Yes, and those dreams are your future and you know it. You just have to win her heart for that future to happen" "You bet. I'll make sure that each and every one of my dreams about us being together will come true. I'll change the flow of time and make sure that my first dream will never come true" he was determined to never lose her.

The welcome party

After a week, Anaya and her entourage came back from the camp. The camp was a great success and the locals there were beyond excited to get a new facilitated hospital.

After they arrived at the hospital they got two days' leave to rest. As they were about to leave the hospital, they got invited to the small welcome party of the new pediatric doctor that evening, as it was the weekend. It was a custom at the hospital to welcome any new doctor so that they can familiarize themselves with fellow doctors. These welcome parties were often held at weekends as most of the doctors had leave on weekends. The cafeteria near the hospital was chosen so that the doctors who were on duty could attain any emergency patients without any delay.

****Evening, at the cafeteria****

As Dheer and Anaya arrived at the rendezvous, they saw Elisa and Rehan sitting at the corner enjoying the view of the little garden outside. Confused, Dheer headed towards them.

"Hey guys, what are you doing here. As I know, the entire cafeteria is booked by our hospital to welcome a new doctor, this evening" Dheer asked.

"We know. It's Dr. Rudra who invited us. He helped us to solve a case a few days back and since then we are on good terms. So he called us today to attend this gathering." Rehan answered.

"Is that the case where El almost assaulted that husband?" Dheer asked.

"You got it. If it was not for doctor Rudra, I would have punched him. He managed to calm me down at that time and I'm grateful for that, or else the case could get quite complicated." Elisa took a sip of her drink.

"So, his name is Rudra. Ever since we get to the hospital, everyone was addressing him as Dr. Handsome. And as we got a leave today, we couldn't see him. I am quite interested to meet him. Everyone seems to be praising him ever since we got back." Dheer said as he took a seat across the table and looked around the hall.

"I agree. He's quite charming. But don't worry he is still behind you in terms of charm so your dear wife will not be charmed by his looks at least" Elisa said as if reading Dheer's mind.

Dheer just shrugged and waited for the person in question to arrive.

Slowly almost all the guests appeared but Rudra was nowhere to be seen. Anaya was happily chatting with Dr. Shah the whole time and Dheer was secretly glaring at Dr. Shah the entire time throwing daggers at him.

He just wanted to go and snatch Anaya from him as he didn't want that old man to matchmake his wife with his nephew. But he couldn't do anything at the moment except for throwing daggers at that old man discretely.

Unaware of all the daggers being thrown at him, Dr. Shah was happily chatting with Anaya. "What about, his mouth stinks? This can be quite a brilliant reason for your divorce?"

Anaya sighed. Fearing that he would instantly call his nephew and force her to meet him, she had not told him about her divorce. "Dr. Shah, Madam is arriving tomorrow. Stop thinking about the ways to get me a divorce and think how would you welcome her" Anaya said almost scolding him. 'Sometimes this man was just too much. No wonder, his wife always scolded him' she shook her head.

She just wanted this party to be over with soon. She could no longer take Dr. Shah's absurd reasons to divorce. Where did he get all these ideas from, she didn't know? 'When will this new doctor arrive? I want to go from here and sleep' she didn't care if everyone was smitten by his looks. For her, these didn't matter. She just wanted to rest after the long tiring camp.

Just as everyone was awaiting the new doctor, two people arrived at the hall with a cake and placed it in the centre of the hall.

As there were not too many people, everyone could see the cake clearly. They frowned when they saw what was written on the cake, while Anaya's eyes widened.
