Two seconds...

No one spoke a word.

When he heard no sound, Rehan looked up and said "Uh... Guys, I'm finished explaining. Would anyone say something? Hehee." He chuckled nervously.

"Just one more question. Earlier, which way did you use to bring us here.. It was not the normal route we take because if it was I'm sure one of us would have noticed. Besides, there is no construction work on the way here and we don't need to walk to get here either." Eva asked, still glaring at him.

''Oh that, the area behind the building is getting redeveloped and I knew that you guys never traveled through that area as it was time consuming so I brought you from that way and chose the back entrance for the building to bring you in which is generally used by the workers here. I knew you would not recognize the place given that I chose a different route and that you were all tired from all that walking" Rehan gave a sheepish smile.

Just as he finished his sentence, he was attacked by his friends. "Oww.. Ow.. It's not fair. Oww.... Why are you all doing this? I d...did oww.. a good job by making Anaya stay near Dheer, didn't I? Dheer I did so much for you and this is how you repay me? Rehan wailed and break free of his friend's clutches.

"I am very grateful to you, that's why I'm not beating you. But I guess others are not as grateful as me" Dheer gave an evil smile. He was really happy with the outcome today. Now he could see Anaya everyday without worry and can even spend time with her.

Someone said that when you are planning for revenge, you should be ready to dig two graves. One for your target, and other for yourself. But in this case, Rehan's grave seemed to be deeper than his friends. How can it not be? After all five people dug his grave while he was alone to dig for six people. He cursed at his odds.

Just like this, the day ended with a wounded Rehan. From the next day, a new chapter will begin for them.

The next day Dheer, Anaya, and a few other doctors and nurses embarked for their week long camp in the countryside where they will treat the poor villagers and try to aware them of good health.

Unknown to them, some people had landed in the city who will make their lives a roller coaster ride.

****Director's office, New life hospital****

The director was sitting on his chair and looking and doing his work. Just then a knock was heard on the door.

"Come in" the director answered without raising his head.

A handsome young man entered the room bringing a mischievous aura with him.

"Good morning director" the man greeted.

On hearing a familiar voice, the director glanced in his direction and cheered "Oh! Rudra, it's you... Finally here to join the hospital eh?"

"The best pediatrician in the country at your service sir," he said saluting just the way any army person would salute his superior.

"You and your shenanigans. When will you grow up huh?"

"I have to be childlike to interact with children properly. How can I treat them if I can't even earn their trust to open up to me."

"Yeah... Yeah.. I am aware of your thought process. Now go and start your job. The junior doctors are long anticipating your arrival. They have worked hard these few days. Come with me, I will introduce you to your peers" the director got up and get ready to introduce him to the staff.

Like this, a new doctor started working at the New Life Hospital.

Meanwhile, when Anaya was on the way to her destination, she got a call.

"Hey Sandy" Anaya chimed.

Dheer's face scrunched as soon as Anaya answered the phone. 'Now what? What does he want from my Anaya now? Don't he have his own life? Hmph!"

"Hey, Naaya. Where are you?" Sandy asked?

"Oh, I forgot to tell you, I'm going to a camp" then Anaya filled him with the details of the camp.

"How can you Naaya? Didn't I ask you not to leave the city" Sandy raised his voice.

Anaya didn't answer.

Hearing the silence on the other end, Sandy pinched his brows and continued gently "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have raised my voice like this. I know that this is a noble cause and you know that I would never refuse you from helping others but Naaya, this is not the time. It's not safe for you. You know how worried I am about you and you still go to that camp without informing me about it. I would have increase your protection at least. Hey, why are you not talking? Hello... Stop pouting and sulking and say something."
