Chapter 013 - Origin Bloodline - Part 2

"Finally", Finn thought inwardy. Since he heard about the 13 great clans from the book-maker, he was too eager to know about them. Even if Solon didn't initiate, Finn would've asked anyway.

"As we learn from our history, the twelve great clans were derived from once existing supreme clan who ruled over 1/4th part of this universe, the Ancestral Titan clan. They had white pale body and white long hairs. They were proficient in all kind of Aether control and Aether-Matter interactions."

"But, slowly younger generations were loosing those heaven defying abilities. So after the last head of the Titan clan died, his 12 children decided to cultivate a particular aspect to it's peak. They went on their own journey, and later, they established the 13 great clans."

"From the very get go, it was tough and challenging to excell in every aspects of Aether and matter. The ancestors of the 13 great clans chose to focus on only one type of ability. And thus, the ancestral bloodline degraded to 13 great bloodlines."

"Oh, so that's how it is..."

" Ok then, let me explain the 12 great clans first..."

Solon started to explain every kind of small and big details to Finn. Let me, the author, explain it to you simply-

Between twelve great clans, the four of them chose elemental control of Aether-Matter interactions.

They were -

Vulcan Clan who chose Fire attribute, the most destructive element.

Triton Clan who chose Water attribute, the most self sufficient, mild and purifying element.

Vayu Clan who chose the Wind attribute, the element which helps to carry Aether.

Valaya Clan who chose the Metal attribute, the only element which have the ability to take different shapes and contain Aether both.

They took control over this continent. At first, there were only four clans in this huge continent.

Raijin Clan's first ancestor was liked experiment with Matter-Aether reactions. He was specially interested in the conduction interaction.

So he speciallized in the lightning attribute. The Raijin clan brought revolution in this world using the help of Conduction.

Their ability was so useful, that the other four clans made a deal with them. And thus, this continent have five great clans ruling it and the centre of them is Raijin Clan.

Putting aside them, other clans didn't chose any elements.

Like Hygieia Clan chose to improve one's condition using Aether. They use Aether to make their body stronger and improve the vitality. They became the clan of healing.

Sancus Clan chose to use Aether to make soul contracts. Every living being has their own unique Aether like fingerprints. Sancus Clan uses that very aspect to bind two or more types Aether with several conditions. If the conditions break, it will directly consume a lot of the vitality which is very dengerous for living beings.

Then there is Psykhe Clan. Aether is the primal living essence of a living being. Even the emotions and behavior of a person is in the end the interactions between Aether. Psykhe Clan members can control one's very soul and emotions. They are very deadly.

And then the Crius Clan. They don't have any power. The weakest of the weakest clan. But still they are one of the Great Clan. People might ask, why is a clan like that has any importance?

It's because they can watch over the entire universe. The ancestor of the Crius clan was a philosopher. He travelled almost the whole universe and comprehended some truth of this universe. He came back and established the Crius clan.

He made a large Aether reservoir with a black muddy substance. And for decades he gathered all types of Aether from the living beings of the Upheaval territory and made a large artificial Sky.

Using every single type of Aether, the reservoir can react with it's connection with the living beings, the Aether collected from. With this artificial sky, Crius Clan members can deduce the fate of the numerous people of this continent.

Because the Clan head collected Aether from every single life, dwelling in the Upheavel Territory, they can even deduce the fate of the descandants of them.

Because of there fate deduction ability, 12 clans were able to maintain the peace till now. Because of this, they were still considered a part of the 12 clans.

Aside from these clans, which uses either the interactions of Aether and Matter or the different uses of Aether, the following two clans solely chose to improve Aether absorbtion and Aether annihilation. They are the strongest two Clans of the 12 great clans and the culprits who destroyed Shezmu Clan.

They are-

Persus Clan, the clan, wherever they goes only destruction awaits. They focused on the ability to erode. Aether is a type of energy. They can change the wavelength and frequancy of the Aether to completely Annihilate the matter. Their ability is so dengerous that, without precious control, they can annihilate themselves.

And then comes the strongest of the 12 great Clans - Heka.

Heka clan members has white pale body and white hairs. They focused on how to absorb Aether from anyhere. And when their ability reached it's peak, they learned how to completely devour the Aether.

They can suck Aether from any living or non-living thing and left the black muddy matter. They can absorb the Aether from nature to it's purest.

After learning till this, Finn, understood why, the book maker warned him to deal with them safely.

Solon stopped talking. His throat became dry after explaining that much. He drank some water and left the container empty.

"Now that you learned about them, let's talk about the Shezmu..."

"Wait wait wait!", Finn stopped him midway, "What about the other clan? You missed one. And you also said thet the supreme ancestor had 12 child, then where the 13 clan came from?"

"Actually I-I don't know about that either. They are the Assassination Clan. No one knows anything about them. They we-were here from the begining. But we don't about there origin, yeah we don't know."

"I see...that's sad to hear...", Finn noticed, Solon was acting suspeciously and tried to avoid talking about the assassination clan.

"Ha-ha-ha, ok then, le-let me tell you about your bloodline now...after all that's the most important one right...?"

Finn didn't react to it anymore and went along with him...

"Ri-right..."
