Well after reading the first volume, i must say it's a well written story with interesting world background. And if you know author from his last work then i can't say more, you should know the quality of his work... but seeing the novel ranking sticking at rank 40 and is not going higher at all and having much lesser comments compared to profane prince at the same time i must say from what i see the reason is the strongest entity that mc know is Ashara who has her own Harem members and having children with different fathers and this is not fellow Harem readers wants to read about or know about it and also the current fmc also has a questionable past life before meeting mc... And another important factor is the hard to understand and complicated power of mc... So comparing it to successful profane prince, we can learn readers don't like too much complicated thing and constantly get mentioned about a certain strong woman having Harem and share of men ( normal Harem readers don't like this kind of character to even be in mc main Harem members let alone to know about her debauchery life) .... so for now ppl will not shift to voting this novel at least not for now... Still the story is interesting... At least we must say GJ to author ππ»
An island in the sea, savior for the desperate. you wanna know why this book stands out among the thousands of books? I'll tell you know. the story is very interesting and to me, a very new concept, it's action packed and everything is well though of, there is no insane luck in this novel, no dumb enemies, no arrogant young masters. and the most important this is that once author sets a rule he follows it, so no sudden I'm your dad kind of things that come out of nowhere. The fights could be rather hard to follow, as there are some rather disturbing abilities of MC that i rather not visualize and the author could learn a thing or two from the author of profane prin.. ohh never mind. The characters are very well written, each have their own personality and back story, and their actions are predictable once you get to know them, which is in this case a good thing, because the author does not pull something up from his arse mid novel saying the force can do this as well. opps wrong website. grammar is outstandingly good for an author without editors, it's very consistent and with minimal errors. I might not be the best person to say this but it's better than what some professional translators on this site write. the world design is the only thing that I don't understand in this novel, how do the houses look? how the cities look? do they look modern? or are more like stream punk type of cities. and what about their transports, how do they look? I hope the author gives us an explanation or a reference. the reason for my high expectations and praise is that this is from the author who wrote profane prince of domination. we all know what the author is capable of, so need for a long essay about it. and here I thought I could not fill out 140 characters. I'm at 1812 right now, I might as well go for the 2000 but the problem is that I don't know what to write. well if you made it this far I sincerely hope you benefited from my rather long review and.
Love the author and have read each of his 3 books, Profane Prince, this, and Nine Venoms. This one is good in that there is a lot of mystery and the story was just getting to the point where the MC was unleashing his fleshcrafting skills. Only problem I have is that after reading Profane Prince and then coming to this, I dislike that the father of the MC is gearing up to be the final main villain that is extremely overpowered and just gets power ups to always be better than the MC until the end. Author likes making the MCβs father be mysterious, in Profane Prince he ends up being the final villain mastermind, in this he has deva powers to counter MCs devil powers, and in Nine Venoms itβs hinted his father knew way too much about cultivation for being a normal human. Wish this would come back though, love the authors writing style, power systems, and storytelling
