Shye Takes the Initiative!

Since they had no classes for two weeks, Shye decided to grind points continuously. After hunting creatures and completing quests for a whole day, Shye only managed to gather 180 points.

He had to admit, farming points through the admiration of others was way faster than grinding points daily like this.

Unfortunately, there were only limited events and so, he couldn't gain huge amounts of points every time.

Still, if he wanted to improve as fast as possible, he had to grind daily even if the point earnings were minuscule. Not only that, he also had to give time to train his stamina or the other attributes would leave it behind.

Once he was done hunting for the day, he left the beginner adventurer zone. He then started walking towards the Materials' Motherland to sell his loot.

While on the way, he remembered that he couldn't expose the existence of his system so Shye looked for a safe area to transfer his loot inside his huge sack bag.

Fortunately, all of his loot for the day did fit inside the sack bag. Shye made a mental note to store multiple sack bags in his inventory in the future.

After successfully transferring all of his loot, Shye carried his sack bag and started to walk towards the shop again and after a few minutes of walking, he arrived at the shop.

"Welcome Sir Crowley! Are you here to sell your loot?"

"Hello Shopkeeper Alyssa! Yes, I'm here to sell my loot."

Shye lifted the heavy sack bag and placed it on the huge counter. He then took out his loot one by one for Shopkeeper Alyssa to check.

Alyssa excitedly checked Shye's loot one by one because she knew that every time Shye came to sell his loot, he always had items from apex predators inside the beginner adventurer zone.

Although the loot from apex predators was rare it was still a bit common when compared to loot from intermediate adventurer zones.

However, Alyssa always makes sure to be enthusiastic when purchasing materials from Shye because she knows that he is a good prospect.

Alyssa knew that Shye was very talented because he was already bringing loot from such dangerous apex predators as if they were common creatures at such a young age.

In addition to this, she recently got news that Shye was now the 1st-ranked student of the Colzen Adventurer Academy's warrior course.

If she takes care of him now, then he will surely take care of her shop in the future!

Finally, after half an hour of meticulous checking, Alyssa offered Shye 120 silver coins in exchange for all of his loot which Shye accepted happily.

If he keeps up this pace then he would be able to purchase a better armor set in just a month!

After the successful and pleasant transaction, Shye thanked Shopkeeper Alyssa before leaving the shop.

On the way back to his dormitory, Shye met Shirley who also just got back from selling her loot to another shop.

"Crowley! Did you just finish hunting?"

"Hmm? Oh, Shirley! Yeah, I just got back from hunting and selling my loot, how about you?"

"Yeah, me too! Should we walk together back to our dormitories?"

"Sure!"

Shye and Shirley chatted casually as they walked back together. Some of their classmates saw them together but they were used to it by now so they just let the two of them enjoy their day.

Just before the two of them reached the dormitories, Shye took the initiative this time and asked Shirley out on a date this coming weekend, and as expected, Shirley enthusiastically agreed with a wide smile on her face.

This was the first time that Shye took the initiative to ask her out so she was over the moon due to happiness.

After a few more minutes of walking, Shirley arrived at her dormitory.

"Well then, see you this weekend!"

"See you!"

Shye bid Shirley goodbye and returned to his own dormitory with a wide smile on his face. 

This was also his first time going on a date so he couldn't help but feel giddy as he excitedly waited for the day to come.
