19 Quests
A few days passed since he defeated Cleo Pollard in a duel. It has been 14 days since he obtained the system and a holographic notification which was only visible to him suddenly popped up.

Shye was intrigued, he quickly opened the system and then tapped [Quests].

"20 points per quest! Not bad at all! I finally have another source of points!"
Lately, Shye has been mulling over how to earn more points. It was getting harder and harder for him to earn points and he's been stuck on 240 points for two weeks now.
In the beginning, he earned a lot of points so he thought that it would be easy as long as he kept winning and doing flashy things.
Unfortunately, he learned the hard way that he needed "events" to happen before he could even have a chance to earn points.
For example, if there's a tournament and he exceeds everyone's expectations, then he could earn more points.
The catch here is the word "expectation", every time he achieves something new or every time his fame grows, the people's expectations increase which makes it harder for him to impress them and earn points.
Although the quests were a bit hard for a mere 20 points, it's better than not earning points at all.
In addition, he will improve and gain more experience every time he completes the quests.
Lastly, the materials retrieved from the carcasses of the monsters can be sold in exchange for silver coins.
There were lots of merits in doing the quests so he plans on completing them whenever he has the time to.
Currently, Shye is inside his house preparing to go out and train inside the beginner adventurer zone again.
Fortunately, he can now gain points from doing so!
Before leaving the house, Shye walked towards Maia's room and knocked on the door.
However, even after a few seconds, there was still no response from Maia so he decided to enter the room.
"Maia? I'm coming in!"
Upon opening the door, Maia was there wearing skin-tight training shorts and a skin-tight training top.
"Oh? Big brother! Sorry, I didn't hear you knocking at the door…" Maia said after noticing that Shye entered her room.
"No worries! I'm going inside the beginner adventurer zone for a bit. Make sure to take proper breaks and hydrate yourself!"
"Yes, Big Brother! Have a safe trip!"
After saying some reminders to Maia, Shye left his dormitory and walked towards the entrance of the beginner adventurer zone.
Upon arriving, he saw the two guards smiling at him so he said hello to them and chatted with them for a while before proceeding inside the beginner adventurer zone.

*SPURT*
Shye was drenched in wolf blood as a holographic notification appeared in front of him.
[Congratulations on completing the quest: Hunt: Greywolves! You've earned 20 points as a reward!]
After two hours of hunting, he has just finished killing his tenth wolf and is in a good mood after receiving the 20 points upon quest completion.
Shye had a crazy idea so he checked the daily quests again to see if the completed quest had been replaced by another quest.

Unfortunately, his fantasies of infinitely grinding points weren't possible because currently, he can only earn a maximum of 60 points per day even if he manages to complete every daily quest.
Still, for Shye, as long as he could at least gain points every day then it was enough.
He quickly proceeded deeper into the forest to look for Irontusk boars. It's very dangerous to hunt inside at night time so he had to complete all three quests before the sun went down.
*SPURT* *SPURT*
After two more hours of hunting, Shye completed another hunting quest.

Shye smiled happily after seeing his total points go up from 240 to 280. Albeit slowly, there was still progress.
As he was about to run off to do his last quest, he suddenly remembered that he didn't even know what a Jadespine flower looked like.
"Hmmm…Gathering quests will be a bit trickier for me…"
He pondered about using the appraisal tool but he couldn't possibly use appraisal on each and every plant he encountered so he quickly disregarded that idea.
So, Shye decided to open the system shop to see if there was anything that could help him.

Shye was getting a bit frustrated. He has already spent an hour looking for items in the shop that could help him but unfortunately, he hasn't found anything yet.
He was now down to his last option which is the [System Functions].
After tapping the [System Functions], he was a bit surprised. There was only one option available and everything was [Locked].
