42 New Inventory Functions

After upgrading the system to level 2, Shye still had 2200 points so he continued exploring the Flashy Adventurer System.

Upon checking the [Regular Quests], he was pleasantly surprised. The regular quests are the same as those in the adventurer guild quest boards where the difficulty, description, and rewards of a quest are displayed.

There were hundreds if not thousands of quests available, however, these quests had a time limit. If the user cannot complete the quest within the time limit or if he abandons the quest, then twice the amount of point rewards will be deducted.

For example, if the reward for a quest is 200 points, then the system will deduct 400 points upon failure.

Still, Shye was happy since this would be another source of points for him. After checking the [Regular Quests], Shye excitedly opened the [Shop].

Last time, he saw that only tier 1 items were unlocked which consists of items usable for iron-ranked and steel-ranked Adventurers.

This time however, after upgrading the system to level 2, tier 2 items which are effective for bronze-ranked and silver-ranked adventurers have been unlocked.

Shye checked the tier 2 section of each item type and as expected, more brands of weapons and armor were unlocked.

He also saw the Meido brand which he was currently using among them. Shye was amazed, he couldn't fathom how old man Sanada managed to create this complicated system.

In the end, he concluded that the complicated stuff must've been done using soul arts which was illegal to study.

If there was a downside to the system, it would be that it is too time-consuming to explore. Many hours or even days will pass before you manage to check everything.

After an hour of scrolling, Shye finally found an item that attracted his attention.

—----------------------------------------------------------------

[Training Elixir(Lv.1) - Stamina]

Description: Enhances stamina training speed by 100% for 2 hours

Cost: 50 points

—---------------------------------------------------------------

"This! I need to purchase some of this!"

Shye immediately clicked [Purchase] and entered [10] as quantity.

[Do you want to purchase 10 [Training Elixir(Lv.1) - Stamina] for 500 points?] [Y/N]

[Y]

[Thank you for your purchase, the item is now available in your inventory!]

He quickly opened the inventory and saw the elixirs on the second empty slot right next to the adventurer encyclopedia.

When he was about to tap on the elixirs, Shye remembered something.

A while back, he tried to put the Jadespine flower in the inventory. However, he wasn't successful that time but now, he upgraded the system to level 2 so he wondered if he could do it now.

Shye saw a pillow beside him and decided to test it out. His first attempt was to hold the pillow right in front of an inventory slot but unfortunately, nothing happened.

Next, he tried holding the pillow as he thought of the words [Store in Inventory] and suddenly a prompt appeared in front of him which caught him off guard.

[Do you want to store [Pillow] in the inventory?] [Y/N]

[Y]

Upon clicking yes, the pillow disappeared from his hands and appeared on the slot beside the training elixirs.

—---------------------------------------------

[Pillow]

Description: A soft pillow

—---------------------------------------------

Shye was ecstatic, he didn't expect that his second attempt would work since he was just trying his luck. Now, he didn't have to worry about his items.

After a short celebration, Shye suddenly thought that if he could store items in the inventory then he could probably take out an item…right?

He didn't know how to do it nor were there guidelines in the system on how to do it so he had to find out for himself.

Fortunately, it didn't take long for him to find out because after tapping on the pillow, a small selection of options lined up vertically.

[Withdraw]

[Destroy]

Shye clicked [Withdraw] and upon clicking the confirm button, the pillow suddenly reappeared in his hands.

"Hahahaha! What a convenient function!"

He continued exploring the system for another half an hour before Shye started to feel sleepy.

It was getting late and he had plans to hunt creatures early tomorrow to not only complete the daily quests but also to farm sellable items and exchange them for silver coins.

Since he couldn't find anything that he wanted to purchase for now, Shye decided to simply upgrade his attributes again.

He allocated four points for strength, five points for agility and dexterity, then ten points for vitality.

After clicking confirm, the familiar warm feeling coursed through his body and of course, Shye checked his status to confirm the attribute upgrades

Status:

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

[Name]: Shye Crowley

[Level] : 27

[Class] : Warrior

—-----------------------------

[Skills]: [Appraisal Lv.1] [Dash Lv.1][Power Slash Lv.2][Enhanced Reaction Time Lv.1][Stoic Lv.1]

—-----------------------------

[Attributes]

[Strength : 45]

[Intelligence : 10]

[Agility : 45]

[Dexterity : 45]

[Stamina : 15]

[Vitality : 24]:

[Wisdom : 6]

[Back] [Exit System]

—------------------------------------------------------------------------------

However, he was shocked upon seeing that a total of 2120 points were deducted which only left him a measly 80 points.

Upon calculating how this happened, Shye was shocked to find that the vitality upgrades cost 100 points each instead of 40 points!

It seems that the unlockable attributes cost way more than the regular attributes.

Shye didn't think too much of it though, having the system was already a big bonus to him and although it was getting harder and harder, he could still farm more points.
