After their first victory, Colzen Academy's streak continued and they easily defeated their opponents in the second and third round matches.

By this time, they've already garnered the attention of quite a few people and some professional adventurers who were watching the matches to decide where to settle down with their families in the future started to consider Colzen City as a potential base of operations.

"Damn! Colzen Academy is on a hot streak this year! They might easily get top 64!"

"I doubt it, I've watched the matches of Shadowglade Academy and they're just as strong as Colzen."

The people started debating about who would advance to the top 64 in Bracket D, some people rooted for Colzen while some people rooted for Shadowglade.

Finally, after a few minutes, the staff walked closer to Dean Snowcrest and told him that it was time for their fourth-round match against their rival, Shadowglade Academy.

Before letting the Colzen representatives go, Dean Snowcrest repeatedly reminded them not to become overconfident against the representatives of Shadowglade Academy because in a close fight, a slight moment of carelessness might result in one's defeat.

No one would ever want to lose against a rival academy in an important fourth-round match and the dean has already experienced this kind of bitter defeat a few times in the past decade so he didn't want this batch of talented representatives to experience the same fate simply because they got overconfident.

Shye had to admit, the series of easy victories made them slightly complacent so even though he wasn't sure whether he would get to fight in this match, he repeatedly reminded himself that Shadowglade was just as strong as them and that he should prepare himself to fight just in case.

The Colzen Representatives left the academy station with serious looks on their faces which made Dean Snowcrest breathe a sigh of relief. He believed that their representatives could win as long as they did not fight their opponents carelessly.

Upon arriving at the designated stage, the Colzen representatives saw that their opponents, the Shadowglade representatives, were staring daggers at them as if they couldn't wait to rip the Colzen representatives apart.

Of course, the Colzen representatives knew that their academies were already at odds with each other and Shye's duel only served to fan the flames of their rivalry so they stared right back at the Shadowglade representatives with mocking looks on their faces.

The humiliation suffered by Shadowglade Academy under Shye's hands allowed them to get revenge and mock the Shadowglade representatives who repeatedly bullied and suppressed the Colzen representatives in the past few years.

However, all of them knew that this year's battle was just starting and they had to make sure to defeat Shadowglade Academy before they could get the final laugh in this year's competition.

Finally, after a few more moments, the first one-on-one match between the two rival academies began.

It was a warrior vs mage battle where the beauty, Allyson Blaire got the last laugh and won the first match for Colzen Academy after a hard-fought battle.

Colzen Academy's companion students along with the people in the crowd who supported Colzen Academy erupted into cheers upon seeing the result of the first match.

In addition to this, Allyson's victory was so narrow that her armor and undergarments got so damaged to the point where her smooth and fair skin was revealed leaving little to the crowd's imagination.

Truly an eye candy for the male audience!

Fortunately, no vital parts were revealed so Allyson wasn't too affected by what happened. 

Also, she knew that this would be a common occurrence in the future so she should train her mentality to keep her focus even under such uncomfortable circumstances or she might lose her life.

In the second match, Ren Beckmann fought against a skilled warrior representative from Shadowglade academy.

He got hit by quite a few power blows which left those who supported him on the edge of their seats.

However, after baiting the opponent to use a skill to finish him off, he turned the match around by narrowly dodging the opponent's destructive attack using a skill of his own before mercilessly using [Bloody Stab Lv.3] to inflict a grievous wound on his opponent which almost ended the Shadowglade representative's life.

Fortunately, the medics managed to save the Shadowglade representative's life on time.

Ren Beckmann wasn't an evil person and he didn't intend for the match to end that way but he had no choice.

His opponent was just as skilled as him so if he didn't give it his all to finish off his opponent, he might get finished off by his opponent instead.

After a huge 2-0 advantage against the Shadowglade Academy, Dean Snowcrest and the instructors had wide smiles on their faces and even those who were watching the match from a huge screen inside Colzen Academy were visibly excited.

If they win one more match, then they would be in the top 64 and would enter another golden age for the academy because the budget provided to them by the World Adventurer Association would be way bigger compared to last year.
