Shye opened the system and tapped [Inventory]

He quickly opened the Adventurer Encyclopedia to check if there was any information about the Jadespine flower.

A holographic large book suddenly opened in front of Shye containing information about not only plants, but also treasures, creatures, and famous adventurers.

Unfortunately, most of the information inside the encyclopedia was locked. It seems that he had to upgrade it before getting more information.

He could only hope that information about the Jadespine flower was available. 

Shye flipped through the pages one by one and he noticed that the information was arranged in alphabetical order.

Currently, he is still at the letter "A". He tapped [Next Page] a few times but there was no progress and he was still at the letter "A"!

"Ughhh…This will never end…Is there an option to jump pages?" Shye complained as he quickly checked the bottom of the screen, and sure enough, he could jump pages.

He tried jumping pages many times but he only reached the letter "C".

"Tch! This is getting annoying…Is there any easier way to…"

Fortunately, while he was in the middle of complaining, a tip appeared in front of him.

Shye slapped his forehead in frustration.

"I wasted almost an entire hour when there was an easier way…"

He had no time to waste though because he wanted to complete the final daily quest before the daily quests reset.

Shye quickly tapped the search icon and thought about "Jadespine Flower".

[Jadespine Flower: A greenish-brown tall flower around the same height as a human's waist. The Jadespine flower is a [Common] flower typically found inside beginner adventurer zones around an area where there is a lake. Mostly used for brewing basic potions and can be sold for a fair amount of silver coins]

A clear picture of the Jadespine flower was also displayed above the description.

"How convenient!"

Shye smiled in satisfaction, he felt that purchasing the adventurer encyclopedia was the correct decision! 

As an inexperienced adventurer, this encyclopedia will not only make information gathering easy for him, it might even save his life!

However, he knew that he couldn't dilly-dally here, it was almost night time and he still had to look for the Jadespine flower.

He would like to avoid walking inside the beginner adventurer zone alone at night so he dashed towards the lake area where he fought against the gale leopard.

While he was running he suddenly remembered his [Inventory]. 

He glanced at the sack bag that he was carrying which contained the materials he harvested from the creatures that he killed earlier.

Shye wondered if he could put his loot inside the inventory. However, his thoughts were cut short once he arrived at the lake area.

"Jadespine flower!" He immediately saw a Jadespine flower and harvested it. He then tried storing the flower in the [Inventory] but he failed.

Shye tried multiple ways such as "thinking about putting the flower in an inventory slot", placing the flower in front of an inventory slot, and shouting "Store in inventory!" but nothing was working.

He was a bit sad that he couldn't use the system's inventory to store items he obtained from the beginner adventurer zone.

However, he quickly got over it because he remembered that he saw an option in [Upgrades] called "[Upgrade System to Lv.2]" so he thought that he might unlock some more features of the system in the future.

For now, Shye carefully stored the Jadespine flower inside his sack bag along with his other loot.

He then continued searching the area for more Jadespine flowers and after only thirty minutes, Shye completed all of his daily quests.

"Phew! Finally done!"

Shye wiped his sweat and then proceeded to walk towards the entrance of the beginner adventurer zone with a wide smile on his face.

It was almost night time but he barely made it thanks to the Adventurer Encyclopedia.

The guards saw that he was in a good mood so they approached and teased him.

"Oh? Crowley, you look very happy! Let me guess, you gained a lot today?"

"Oh! Keaton! Harry! Yeah, I had quite a good harvest today!"

"Hahahaha, that's good. Well then, you better hurry now or the material shops will close!"

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Thanks for reminding me! Bye!"

After a short conversation with the guards, Shye sprinted towards the material shop where he sold the Gale leopard's materials last time.

He checked almost every shop inside Colzen City last time and confirmed that the "Materials' Motherland" was not only the most prestigious, but it also buys materials from adventurers at a fair price.

Unlike the other shops that try to take advantage of rookie adventurers' inexperience.

Upon arriving at the Materials' Motherland Colzen branch, the pretty shopkeeper greeted him with a smile on his face.

"Hello, Sir Crowley! Are you here to sell materials again?"

Shye was surprised. He didn't expect that the shopkeeper would know his name since this was only his second time selling his raw materials in this shop.

It seems that the shopkeeper saw his Colzen Adventurer Academy identification card and did some research on their own.

After deducing how the shopkeeper knew about his name, Shye was impressed. 

"It seems that well-known shops with multiple branches operate differently and that's why they're more successful than other shops…" 

Shye thought to himself. 

He then placed his sack bag in front of the counter and took out its contents one by one.

This time, it was the shopkeeper's turn to be impressed.

"Woah…This many materials from dangerous creatures while only being a first-year student…"

The shopkeeper thought to herself. 

"Hmmm…Five Irontusk Boar hide and ten tusks, ten Greywolf hide and 40 Greywolf paws, then three Jadespine flowers…"

"The total price of everything here is around 86 silver coins but with this impressive bulk amount, I can round it up and buy everything for 90 silver coins…Is this price acceptable to Sir Crowley?"

The shopkeeper asked

"Y-Yes…That's an acceptable price for me!" Shye replied

"Well then, here's a pouch of 90 silver coins! It's a pleasure doing business with you Sir Crowley! If you have other things to sell in the future, you're very welcome to sell them here and we will surely give you a competitive and honest price!"

"Thank you! I will make sure to consider selling my loot to your shop first!"

"Thank you, Sir Crowley! Have a nice day!"

After exiting the shop, Shye happily walked back to his dormitory. It was already night time and it was almost time for dinner with his little sister.

While walking, he opened his coin pouch and checked how much money he currently had.

"Oh? 440 silver coins! This should be enough to buy a complete set of armor…"
