1 Chapter 1: Morning

Jiang Xi got up feeling like she'd been hit by a truck. Holding her head, her eyes finally cleared and she was confused to find that her bed sheet was a gray color. Then, she noticed something strange, she felt cold.

'No,' thought Jiang Xi, closing her eyes and hugging the sheets to herself before finally peeking under only to grapes.

She then turn her head to the side and was met with a very handsome face.

'Oh, my god, no,' she wanted to scream. What the hell had happened last night. How did she end up in the bed of the film emperor Li Chen!

'I have to go,' Jiang Xi thought to herself, trying to move her sour body only to be startled when the door busted opened. 'Paparazzi?'

But what greeted her was not a crowd of flashing cameras and a bomb of questions, but a cute little girl in uniform with a purple backpack over her should.

'So cut!' thought Jiang Xi.

But what came out of her mouth was an even bigger shock to Jiang Xi. "Papa wake up!" the child shouted. "It's morning."

The child moved toward the bed and Jiang Xi tried to hide herself under the blankets as the man beside her stirred. Under the blankets, Jiang Xi felt Li Chen's movements as he turned toward the child.

"Papa," said the child.

"Luna, you're not in school yet?" Li Chen questioned, still a bit sleepy.

"I came back because I forgot the permission form."

"Ah, sorry. Papa still haven't sign it."

"Papa."

"Okay, okay. Let Papa get dressed and I'll sign it for you, okay?"

"Hm, fine… Papa… are you hiding someone behind you?"

'Say no, say no, say no,' Jiang Xi desperately prayed.

"Why don't you go and see who papa's hiding?"

'No! Li Chen, what kind of a papa are you?!' Jiang Xi desperately wanted to shout at him but was too embarrassed to show her face.

She suddenly felt the pull of the blanket and tried hard not to be exposed. she heard Li Chen chuckle and couldn't help but to give him a kick under the blanket. But this caused the man to burst out laughing.

"If you don't want to be fully exposed, I suggest you show yourself, my daughter is rather strong," Li Chen advised.

Knowing that he was probably right, Jiang Xi finally showed her head and smiled at the child.

"Hello," she said.

The child seemed shocked for a moment before she pounced on Jiang Xi, shouting, "Mama!"

"Hah? Mama?"

"Mama, mama, where have you been? Why did you leave Luna and papa? When did you come back? Are you going to leave again? Mama don't leave! Luna will be a good girl! Mama can't leave Luna and papa!"

Shocked, Jiang Xi turned to the smirking Li Chen in confusion, silently asking him for help.

"Luna," he finally spoke up. "Mama just came back and she is tired. You go out first, okay?"

Luna stared at Li Chen before turning back to Jiang Xi, her face full of worry.

"Don't worry," said Li Chen. "Papa is here. Papa won't let mama disappear again. You go out first, okay?"

"…Okay," Luna reluctantly gave in and slowly walked to the door, turning back to look at Jiang Xi with worried eyes from time to time, scared that she would disappear, before finally closing the door behind her.

Once the door was closed, Li Chen got up from the bed and Jiang Xi quickly covered her eyes with the blanket, embarrassed.

Li Chen chuckled and said, "Don't try to run. Luna won't let you out the house without a fight." And he disappeared into the bathroom.

Hearing the showerhead turned on, Jiang Xi sneered and whispered, "As if a child can stop me." She attempted to get up only to slip when her legs hit the floor. 'Damn, how hard was it last night?'

She attempted to find her clothes and, thinking that Luna walked through this mess, felt embarrassed yet again and wanted to curse at herself for ending up in this situation, and off-handedly cursed her ex-boyfriend. If it wasn't because she caught him cheating, she won't have ended up in this situation.

'My first time, gone and I barely remembered it, oh,' Jiang Xi shed silent tears for her hard-kept virginity for 22 years lost to a druken one-night stand.

Thinking that she doesn't have much time left, Jiang Xi quickly tried to get dressed and leave, but just as she turned the nob, she found that it was locked.

'Hah? What's going on? How can it be locked?!' Jiang Xi desperately tried to open it, especially when she heard the showerhead turn off. However, she could only give in when the bathroom door opened, and her gaze met with Li Chen's own. Embarrassed at his half-covered state, Jiang Xi decided to look down to avoid him. She stiffened when she heard him walk toward him and patted her head.

"Go shower," he said. "Don't think about running. You can't escape."

'Why does it sound like I'm going to be killed?' Jiang Xi wondered as she found herself in the bathroom. She sighed. 'Well, can't escape this now. I really am stupid, even a one-night stand, I can't do correctly.' And with that, she stripped and took a nice hot shower.
