Sniper

"Lord Tang?"

Tang Zhixin's assistant approached him as he was standing on the second floor looking at the girl sprawled on the couch getting fed grapes by the most handsome servants of the place. This was Luna's idea of pissing off that handsome devil. 

When his assistant saw the scene happening downstairs, his eyes bulged out as he said, "Should I—"

Before he could say anything else, Tang Zhixin held up his hand to stop him. "Let her do whatever she wishes."

"Should I inform Mr Feng about Madam's whereabouts?" His assistant asked. 

Tang Zhixin sighed. "It's not like Uncle Feng never knows what his only child was upto all this while."

"Should we interrogate–"

"Don't put Lixue in a difficult position, "Tang Zhixin reminded him. "She and Zuni are closer than normal bestfriends. Let her live here while we find this Baobei. Once you find this man, tie him in the basement and torture the hell out of him. A man with such a name has to be a swindler."

Downstairs… 

"Sister-in-law?" A teenage boy blinked his eyes as he looked at the familiar face that he hadn't seen for a few years. 

"Brat, who are you calling your sister-in-law?" Luna glared at the boy who used to be cute once upon a time. "I will never be your sister-in-law no matter how much you beg me."

"Good, "The teenage boy said. "I never wanted you to be my sister-in-law anyways." He blinked his eyes and went on, "Why don't you marry me and be my brother's sister-in-law?"

"Aww, aren't you a cutie pie, "Luna moved to ruffle his hair. "I'm a prisoner here alright. Grow up, then I will think about your offer."

"Oh, "The boy reacted expressionlessly. "Bye, I will see you again. Zuni and I have a match at 9. I have to beat her today." 

"After pushing me to jail, she is playing online games?" Luna screeched. 

Upstairs…

"Mr Assistant, tell your boss to start calling Luna Sister-in-law. She promised to marry me when I'm no longer a minor, "The expressionless boy said as he glanced at the assistant for a while before walking towards his room. 

"Put him on a plane and send him back to his parents, "Tang Zhixin announced suddenly. "Or send him to mine since my dad loves his nieces and nephews more than his son." 

"Yes, Lord Tang, "The poor assistant wiped his forehead and nodded his head. Why was working for this family so scary?

On the other hand…. 

After eating at a vegan restaurant, Zuni was standing on the exit like a good girl that she was while Song Jingren was on a call. She was admiring his sun kissed face while wondering what it would feel like to be Zuni-kissed when she felt a red dot right on his forehead. 

A normal person wouldn't have reacted seeing that red dot but Zuni, born and raised in a nice mafia family, understood what it was!

Her hubby who she had yet to eat was pointed at by a sniper. As if she would let the sniper shoot through her Baobei's forehead. She calculated in her mind as she kicked the flower pot which hit the wall next to Song Jingren, grabbing his attention. As he moved, the bullet missed its original shot and hit the wall of the restaurant. 

Song Jingren's eyes widened and before he could react, his security team appeared and were guiding them to a safe position. 

"Take my wife to a safe place first, "She heard her husband say but she didn't find him in the hustle and bustle. 

Taking advantage of the hustle and bustle, she sneaked out of the restaurant and ran towards a particular direction. She didn't run in the direction where the guards ran to catch the sniper. She had seen the sniper standing on the opposite building when the bullet missed the target and from her mafia experience, she could tell he was going to take the unusual way to run from here. 

"Stop right here, "She yelled when she saw a man running away with a black case. Since she was wearing Song Jingren's oversized shirt, she unbuttoned the last two buttons and took out the hidden knife and tossed it at his leg making him unable to run. 

"Seriously?" Zuni grumbled when she caught him by his collar and punched his nose. "Such an unskilled and cheap assassin to kill my billion dollar worth hubby?" Another punch. " You disappoint me!"
