177 Main Character's Love Interest

"What are you thinking?" Zuni asked Song Jingren. He was driving her back to the Long family's house. Ever since Liu Shishi and Chen Yuling had an argument in the Song house, Song Jingren was exceptionally silent. Any son would be behaving like this if the matter involved his mother. 

"Nothing, "Song Jingren replied, passing her a small smile. 

"I know what's on your mind, "Zuni said with a shrug. "If you don't wanna talk about it, then it's fine." After a few moments, she added, "Do you know that stress lessens when we share our problems? At least, it does in my case. I don't know about it. But we can try, right?" 

Song Jingren ended up smiling at her attempt to share her worry. He looked straight at the road and said, "I'm thinking about mom and Liu Jingjing. What if mom manipulated Jingjing against you to force you to leave me?"
