Do you recognise me? (two)

When Zoe had woken up after a long sleep, she found herself in a hospital room. She could smell the disinfectants and medicines lingering in the air. For someone who had been working in this field for a decade knew what hospitals felt like even without opening her eyes. 

She was startled when she heard the sound of Chinese doctors talking about her condition. When she heard the familiar language, her anxious heart calmed down. She was not caught. She was safe. Perhaps, for now. She had spent most of this year, hiding and looking for safe places. 

She tried to leave the bed but when she felt her aching leg, she paused and stared at her injured body. That day, she recalled getting stuck in the fire that she had caused. She had no other option to save Luna and Tang Zhixin and so she bombed the hotel. It was her only way to save the two of them.
